Canon EOS R5

You cannot go wrong with the canon r5. It's a fantastic camera in its price point for pretty much any situation you throw at it.

I love this camera. Everybody loves this camera and this is the canon eos r5.

I would suggest going for the EOS R5, but make sure to get the Canon RF 24-105mm f/4L IS USM lens along with it. This will provide a good focal range with constant maximum aperture, image stabilization, and excellent image quality. I suspect that you should be able to get the camera and body for less than the body-only price of the 1DX Mk.

I'm honestly a bit hesitant with the fancy features because there's just so much lol, I had the opportunity to handle a canon EOS R5 and it felt amazing - but there were so many options and things it's overwhelming :p. The F4 would give me a lot of modern conveniences but with a more natural feel. If I were a photographer by profession then I'd defs get a proper DSLR but I shoot for fun, and hence I feel the F4 would be a really nice addition to my gear - it would be a nice entry to AF lenses too!

As someone who shoots with a 30y/o nikon SLR:. I was talking to a photographer at my school and he gave me a feel for the EOS R5. The first impression was that it felt *solid*. It didn’t feel tacky or cheap, feels as good as my S3 and FM2 - plus it was easier to hold one handed.
