The Purple 2 was weird, I am not sure if I would really like that so long term, and some Temperpedic $3000 range was nice, but was $1000 more than I was interested in. So we went to Casper... thinking it was going to be a quick in an out and I would only be upset for spending an extra $500 today, but that wasn't true. We liked the Wave Hybrid ($2800) and she liked the Nova (too soft) and I liked the original Hybrid (too hard for her).

Finally after 4 days of this, they tell me to send some photos and that we can being the return process... Unless you live in a town that they offer their pick up services to (which, lets be honest, may not even exist), you are then required to donate the mattress yourself and provide them with proof!. I spent multiple days calling around seeing how I could donate my mattress. Basically, if you do not have a truck to transport the mattress, you're going to be holding onto that thing for a while.

Locally, Costco has the best returns, so we looked at what they had available and chose the mattress that most closely resembled a combo of the DIY specs and the Tempur Adapt. The winner was the Casper Hybrid and it has been FABULOUS!. No pain when sleeping on side, wake up without joint stiffness, sleep well. Frankly, it feels like a miracle to not be in pain in the morning and to not toss and turn all night.
