I don’t want a bunch of giant plastic things that are only good until 20-30 lbs. The chicco keyfit 35 will last longer than the 30 lb infant car seats. Same for the pack n play newborn2toddler - it’s max is 50 lbs. I’m skipping a changing table or keekaroo, a skip hop on the floor or bed will be good enough.

We're getting a new infant seat, because #2 used his bucket seat until he was almost 2, and had reflux, so it's not in great shape. I'm planning on trading in his Keyfit at Target and getting the Keyfit 35 with the extra large canopy. We'll probably end up buying another Extend2Fit down the line, too, because I don't plan on turning #2 around until he's close to 50# and #3 will definitely be out of the bucket seat by then.

We have a Diono radian 3QXT, had a Chicco Keyfit 35, and multiple carriers. For wearing, the Boppy Comfyfit is likely going to be the easiest and most secure/comfortable option, although it does get warm. A linen ring sling would be better, and a woven wrap would be best, but stretchy wraps are great for babies under 15 lbs. Honestly, if I could do it over again, I would never have wasted money on the Chicco seat.

If they're in a convertible, you would wake them up taking them out. We have a Chicco Keyfit and a Graco 35 Snugride. They're both quite comfy for the babies, and our daughter fit in them for about 7 months, then we moved her into a convertible. They were both super easy to install, affordable, and lightweight.
