 The issue is that the filters don't last for any length of time and they are expensive! I HATE to return this but feel I have no choice at this time.

I just got this pitcher with a filter, soaked the filter for a few hours, filled [it filters very slowly] then poured water to drink. The water doesn't taste as good as my previous pitcher filter, a Barrier. I'll give this a day or two more then make a decision. The water has a bitter taste

CUMBERSOME, HEAVY & AWKWARD TO HANDLE

DO NOT LET FILTER DRY UP. Filter ONLY works when used DAILY because Filter MUST be KEPT WET (DRIES UP quickly if not in use even for a few days!) Also, BEWARE - FILTER DOES NOTremove salt that is used in home water softening systems….the salt taste remains and is awful.

Worse Pitcher Ever

 They require soaking many hours (preferably overnight, the company says). However they stop working within a month or two and begin to drip, drip, drip water through the filter. It can take several hours to fill a jug, if it fills at all. The company replaced one filter for free (we were thrilled) but that one soon stopped working too

 After the first three weeks of use, these filters become so slow that they essentially render the product useless. We're talking a glass of water every 3 hours if you're lucky since it will drip one small drop every 4 seconds. In my experience, even when the filters were working their best, they took about 1-2 hours to filter a full chamber of water. I tried soaking and flushing the filters as recommended more times than I can count, but that would only provide very minimal filter improvement and make the filter use even more of a hassle
