 True German-built Mx cherry switches inside the keyboard will provide a great experience for gamers or keyboard enthusiasts. My particular model has Mx cherry red switches inside, although browns can also be purchased at this time with blue switches to be available later on this year. Taking a look inside the box, you'll find the keyboard nicely protected in plastic wrap, housed in cardboard. Don't forget to take everything out inside because you will find an additional set of textured keycaps and a keycap puller

 Those keys are also contoured to fit the shape of your fingers as you can see the slight slope is a great little feature for the keys we'll be using most often. The keyboard spacebar is also now textured by default, giving your thumbs a nice change of scenery. Under those keys, you'll find the Mx cherry key switch with the Led light directly above. This is to ensure you're getting the maximum amount of brightness shining through your translucent key character

My First Custom Mechanical Keyboard! (ID80 v2)

A bit disappointed by this high-end keyboard. I purchased it as a replacement of my MSI VIGOR GK 30 that I find way too loud. Whether you're sitting among developers or recording a meeting and taking notes, you expect your typing to be silent. My $65 MSI keyboard is nothing but loud

 I did some research and found a supposedly quality and silent keyboard. Unfortunately, the $164 CORSAIR is still too loud for my liking. Moreover, the wrist support is made of cheap hard plastic. I'll use it as it is a bit quieter, but it is not worth the price for me

I got a Logitech g513 Carbon keyboard about 2 months ago, which has cherry MX (or at least very close) switches, with sadly low quality keycaps. I really like the typing experience on it and would like to keep using it for a long time, but I'm afraid the keycaps are going to end up without any paint on them in a shockingly short time. As I'm Dutch, I'm looking for a place to buy a full replacement set of keys, but the site linked in the wiki seems to no longer exist. Any other Dutch people on here who know where to buy keycaps for a decent price? They don't need to be the most high end option, but I would like to still have the backlight visible through them and not have the paint wear off in two weeks.

I currently have a Leopold FC900RS with cherry MX pink switches which is perfect, however there might be something similar I should consider as well. What I am looking for in a switch: Linear with cushioning because I bottom out. A little bit more resistance then pink would be nice because I occasionally make typos. Will be used for gaming and office. 

What would you advise? Are there any good switches like pink of other manufacturers? My budget is around 130 euro.

What are my options if I want to use this keyboard for both computers?

I don't want to physically plug unplug from the port every time I switch - I know they have magnetic style USB C charging cables, is there something similar for data? Or is there a different option? I don't want to spend $100+ for a lemo set up today.

Recently got the Keychron Q1 as my first custom keyboard. While I know where I want to go with it, I'm kinda lost at stabilizers.

I have a GMMK Pro and I have been test driving some various keycap styles in the Dolch (and similar) colorways and I have found that nothing really has the full feel/sound/look that I am going for. I started with cheap OEM blanks that were on my previous board and then I tried the MT3 Susuwatari and that made me realize that I only wanted spherical. The deep homing keys feel like a warm hug and I've never been fond of homing bars, I work with my hands, it is tough for me to pick up the very slight change in texture. 

The MT3 Susuwatari is gorgeous and has the perfect texture (in my opinion). However, I am finding that even after nearly a month, I am brutally inaccurate typing with MT3 caps. I think the deep recess/high edges is causing me to have a lot of mistakes, either pressing slightly off center or catching the edge of one key as I am trying to get to another. This is very possibly a result of my typing style, but after a month I just can't get used to it no matter what adjustments I am making.

Next came the Domikey SA Dolch from Drop. I really love the typing experience on SA. The larger, slightly flatter but still spherical tops are far more accurate for me. However, I think these keys look awful in person. The font is massive and looks absurd and the caps themselves look and feel cheap. It looks and feels like cheap sewer pipe plastic and it sounds hollow. The actual key press on my various clicky switches is quite nice, but that's about it. I'm honestly offended these cost $90.

Next came a cheap DSA set off Amazon as a test of the profile. Having typed on MacBook keyboards exclusively for much of my personal and professional life before swapping to Windows machines, I actually found the short flat style fantastic. It felt good, I could type very quickly and accurately but because it was a cheap Amazon set, I can't really judge sound, look or feel. I also think the smaller surface area was causing some issues for me in the same way the MT3 keys were. I really love the look of the PMK DSA Dolch kit and am really tempted to grab it while it is in stock, but it has no 1u Alt or Ctrl keys which may be a problem for the GMMK Pro (though I guess because it is a flat profile, I can just put any other 1u keys from the set there).

I am really not sure where to go from here. I absolutely love the look, sound and feel of the MT3 Susuwatari set but I just can't get over how inaccurate I am with them. The Domikey SA Dolch are great in terms of accuracy, but look and feel terrible in terms of quality and the sound is hollow. Sorry if this sounds stupid but how do you pull the bottom and top row of high profile keyboard. I've been struggling to get both of the tabs pushed in on the switch to get it out.
