  The power of this unit is amazing, if you turn it up all the way IT IS LOUD, but at the lowest setting I don't really notice the unit, other items in my room make more noise. I'm going to put some recommendations below, but if you can only afford one unit, don't worry, even 2 full air scrubs an hour is AMAZING, better then most things out there. If you keep it running 24 hours a day your house will be VERY clean.  My 2 cents in an IDEAL situation (if you have the extra money to spend):  In single floor house I would get one for the master bedroom and one for a common area (living room, kitchen, dining room) as far away from the bedroom as possible

 . . just do it. I had "Cleanable" filters in the past such as the Honeywell AirGenius 4 & 5 , let me say when you have to do it 4 times a year, I rather just pay $120 for the set

 Do you have dogs or live in an area with bad air quality? Get this! The only downside is that the filters need to be replaced once a year and typically around $120 for the full set, you dispose the old ones. But when it comes to health . . 

  Next I moved to the Honeywell True Clean HEPA HPA300 ($250 each), this unit is also very big with 3 HEPA filters (much smaller filters than the Conway but it has 3 of them instead of 2, and a large replaceable charcoal filter in front of the HEPAs. Although a great unit, I wanted more coverage instead of buying more of these. Consumer reports rates this their top 3 filters on the market, if you have a smaller apartment / condo and want to save some money, this one is great and the replacement filters are half the price (but a little less than 60% of the coverage at around 465 square feet - i'll explain soon why the Coway Airmega 400s should only only be rated at 780 square feet).  Lastly I moved the Molekule setup ($800 each) , although a very attractive unit the pre-filter is TINY and got clogged all the time

Amazing Air Purifier! Software needs guidance (READ ME)

  The Filters: The filters that the Airmega uses are clearly very high quality. I don't have much more to say about them other than when you pick one of the filter up, you can just tell how well made they are. This device also has a pre-filter which I greatly appreciate much more than I had expected. I purchased this to reduce the amount of dust in my bedroom and the pre-filter does a great job filtering out a good portion of the dust

 I have noticed a substantial reduction in both the amount of dust in my bedroom since buying this purifier, and the severity of my allergies.  The Build Quality: Again it's hard to explain this one, rather it's something that comes intuitively after interacting with the produce. This device is both very stylish, thoughtfully designed, and well built. Attention to detail is evident in much of the design and oozes quality--down to even the braided nylon encased power cord

 This device also has a pre-filter which I greatly appreciate much more than I had expected. I purchased this to reduce the amount of dust in my bedroom and the pre-filter does a great job filtering out a good portion of the dust. It is made of a super fine fabric mesh that I vacuum off once every couple of weeks. I'm glad they designed this with a pre-filter because I am sure that it will greatly extend the lifetime of the filter and help maintain high airflow through it

 I have found that the historical chart regularly displays the quality of the air as always very good and shows little variation in the quality, despite the real-time status of the air quality regularly spiking into the 'very poor' range due to my use of aerosols in that room. It seems as though the historical chart averages our the air-quality and smooths out the spikes so much that I have never seen the historical chart show anything outside of the very good range. In my opinion this significantly diminishes the usefulness of the feature. I also own a Dyson air purifier with an air quality sensor and I have found the historical chart for that device to provide a historical chart of air quality with much greater resolution

HIGHLY RECOMMEND: The fundamentals of this air purifier are phenomenal, but skip the smart features...

  My sinus allergies are improved by 90% for sure - basically no congestion and I definitely sleep better due to no congestion at night. The machine, on low, is basically silent at night. I have an opinion that the “auto” mode feature is useless for air purification. Air needs to move to be filtered

The indicator is on blue 95% of the time (so I guess the air in our house is overall clean), which means that the unit would rarely run at all when on auto mode! What is the point of that? Why buy an air purifier only to have it on idle most of the time? It changes to purple when cooking or when the central heat kicks on (maybe some dust inducts). It also immediately detects when a candle is burning 10 feet away

We bought our Airmega 400 to handle some basic dust and allergy concerns in the house, as well as another layer of virus and bacteria infections protection. We are a family of 3 and no pets. We do have a central Honeywell F300 electrostatic system (rated at HEPA 13) (including UV light treatment), but we have found that it only works best when the central blower is running full blast (it is loud), so that is not working out for us. We bought one Airmega to try it out first, but I will probably add one more unit

Really powerful air purifier

  What I don't like is the AUTO feature. It actually turns the air flow completely off if it detects clean air. OK, that's interesting, but I still want it to run at least on level 2 on auto, silent anyway and obviously new dust can fly in at any time. How can the unit detect new dust in the air, if the unit it completely OFF? That just doesn't make sense, and seems completely defective in logic

Fantastic and QUIET air filter, app needs improvement

I really like this air purifier, it has everything that I need - it's absolutely silent on low level, it automatically detects dirty air and enables more powerful mode, it has mobile app, and mobile app is easy and quite powerful, at least I can setup flexible schedule for enable/disable it. The only big downside is that SOMETIMES it starts producing crackling sounds. Like if something knocking the ventilator. And it's extremely annoying

I'd give it 6 stars out of 5 if it wasn't noisy sometimes

 The air filter works great. I have received plenty of unsolicited compliments on how great the air in my apartment feels. On full blast can get a little loud but I just run it as I am leaving. With people in the apartment and on a lower setting you don't notice it's even on

Great Product But Horrible App

 Our blower motor on our AC went out and our house filled w smoke. This air purifier went into over drive and cleared all of the smoke very quickly and ensured our air was safe. I’m grateful that my husband checked the filters bc I would never assume they were placed in the machine in their plastic so if you buy this make sure you remove the plastic. Once we did it has been working great!

 Thankfully he took apart the purifier and found both filters still in their plastic wrap but placed in the machine. Luckily that wasn’t the issue. Our blower motor on our AC went out and our house filled w smoke. This air purifier went into over drive and cleared all of the smoke very quickly and ensured our air was safe

Definitely works

 (The VOC measurements were up to 5 times higher than what was considered safe!) After zeroing the testing instruments and getting baseline VOC measurements, the Conway did nothing to reduce them - even at the highest fan setting after 24 hours. I still love the Conway though as it does a SPECTACULAR job at reducing a full range of microparticulate matter. Keep in mind that VAST majority of VOCs cannot be detected by smell.

The media could not be loaded. I originally bought this for Radon, but the carbon filter did not get rid of it, but the entire machine still seems pretty nice the sensor is highly sensitive and will pick up almost anything that it thinks is dust or bad air I attached a video as well  Downside of the product is the filters range anywhere between $64 - $99 dollars  Also Night mode there is no way control the brightness on the leds, which light the entire room room up which can keep you from sleeping
