We use this for work. I've found this thing overheating and slowing to a crawl quite a lot. It also shuts down randomly, probably due to some hardware issue. I think Dell, as usual, skimped out on quality hardware, but I'm not certain

 A nice feature to help support eye comfort. Some of the other features when you look at the palm rest, you'll notice, we have an upgraded keyboard versus our previous generations of latitude 7000 series, the larger font on the keys, you'll notice that we've moved the power button. It'S now integrated as part of the keyboard. This particular model uses the fingerprint reader, that's integrated in the power button

 We can charge the battery up to 80 percent in one hour, there's also express charge boost which can charge the battery 35 percent in about 20 minutes um. There are also other features to express sign in as well so a lot of optimization, that's integrated into the 7410, and when you combine that with the hardware experience and all the premium features we've talked about, you really do have just a nice system for that. On the go professional, that's got to perform at their pink at their peak at any time. One of the other nice features that we've integrated with the 7410 are the three battery options

0, the two usb type-c connectors, the micro sd card reader and, of course, your standard smart card reader. On the back of the system, you'll notice, these nice premium aluminum hinges.  Of course. This is a gloss sort of feel to it, and I can definitely tell I, like these new screens, like this glass here, is way nicer, this new glass that they're actually using for 2020 models. It'S definitely nicer. I must to delbet what kind of glass are they have the same class they uses of previous years, but I'm pretty sure they actually use a different type of glass for the 2020 version of the latitude series

 That'S not like cheap plastic is actually quite good middle. There. That'S really nice to see for the hinge place and then we've got wedged, lock slot and got two USB 3.1 gene one ones a power share can see, and then we've got a headphone combo jack

 So having a quick look at the seven is 474 10. The actual T's spacing between each keys is actually different. The 7400 is actually wider and then 7410 is actually the more narrower, so that's actually kind of good. So it's a little bit more compact that you can definitely see that as well

 Do the first thing I can do on these things here and try the one finger test, see what that does. Oh, it's pretty smooth. It'S pretty good! I like it, I definitely like it. I definitely like the new hinge for sure so want to try that again it's got a bit of a old first event

There's more to like about the screen than its high pixel count. It's a low-blue-light display that is intended to be easier on your eyes during long work sessions, and also a low-power panel. Usually 4K resolution has a severely adverse effect on battery life, but now you can have both clarity and unplugged life.

After fully recharging the laptop, we set up the machine in power-save mode (as opposed to balanced or high-performance mode) and make a few other battery-conserving tweaks in preparation for our unplugged video rundown test. (We also turn Wi-Fi off, putting the laptop in airplane mode.) In this test, we loop a video&mdash;a locally stored 720p file of the same Tears of Steel movie we use in our Handbrake trial&mdash;with screen brightness set at 50 percent and volume at 100 percent until the system conks out.

 Adobe rgb 77 of the p3 wide color gamut and 71 ntsc, making this a good choice for those content. Creators that like to do lightroom, photoshop and, of course, video editing, you're looking at some pretty slim side, bezels, a relatively thin top bezel and a slight chin on the bottom, not too bad for a business focused laptop, giving off a pretty sleek and modern. Look not too bad and at 365 nits. This is definitely bright enough to use in both indoor and outdoor scenarios, especially because this is a non-glossy matte display

 10 gestures are working as advertised. It'S a glass touchpad. It'S a precision, touchpad and it is again working very well no complaints on that front. The latitude 7410 sports a 68 watt hour battery and it did 11 hours and 34 minutes on my continuous web surfing test over wi-fi at 150 nits, not something we normally see when we have a 4k display good battery life is again not something we associate with A 4k display that is not the case here: good battery life, good job on that front dell

 It came in with a beautiful 1080p display, really good options when it comes to the business user, and i love the fact that it had off the charts battery life. That'S right. I think it was 18 or 19 plus hours, which is simply unheard of here. In 2020, really good in terms of battery life

 So what do you think about this bad boy? The latitude 7410 super impressed with that low powered 4k display blue light filter, which will reduce any chances of eye strain, which i absolutely love. That'S a great idea and i'll also love the fact that you're going to get good battery life, not something we typically see with a 4k display that usually eats into the battery life. And, of course, you have to make sacrifices when you choose that higher res display. That'S not the case here
