You have a wonderful latte. So if you're interested in getting the Delonghi Dedica Espresso maker, I recommend it.

A Delonghi Dedica was then acquired. But I used to live in a neighbourhood full of these little #"+!§ bastards of cockroaches, which have made their way in and fried the electrical system... returned to the French press until I moved to a roach-free area and had a more stable life. And now here we are, Rocket Appartamento and Eureka mignon... The setup that will last me 20 years (hopefully!).

In Coventry, UK, passing through and dove into what looked like it might be a small speciality coffee shop (decor etc suggested it; counter was at the back, couldn't see the machine on first glance but thought it must be somewhere). Ordered a double espresso; just at the same time as I noticed the delonghi dedica sitting on the back bar. Not looking good, but at least they use freshly ground espresso right?. "Where do we keep that bag of coffee?"

Right now I have a Delonghi Dedica and I feel like I've hit a ceiling. I'm dialing everything - 16g in, about 32g out, trying to get around 25-30s of flow. However my espresso still feels sour and sometimes sour and bitter altogether. I think that the main issue is well known temperature problems as it seems to be too low even on the highest setting.

Searching on the web I learned that it's intended for filter coffee and my dedica wasn't a good match for these beans, so I gave up. - dark roast starbucks 100% arabica: after my experience with the light roasted beans, my first coffee cup tasted amazing, however after some more cups I realized it tasted too much burnt for my liking.
