The best compact mechanical keyboard

The One 2 SF is the Goldilocks keyboard—it doesn’t have too many or too few keys—and it feels great to type on.

Ducky one 2 mini will always be my go to 60% keyboard. Very basic answer but it’s just so good

Keyboard with Trackpad for iPad Pro

I recently purchased a Ducky One 2 SF [1], which has built-in mouse functions. After remapping caps lock to Fn: left pinky + wasd for movement, q left click, e right click, r/f scroll. The default tracking speed is low, but thankfully iOS lets you change that. Configuring accessibility stuff to...

Ducky One 2 full-sized is a great board. Right around the $100 mark you're looking at. I'd go with Browns or Reds since you said you wanted the kid to have quieter keyboard experience.

I love my ducky one 2 mini but it’s also my first mechanical keyboard so I don’t have anything to compare it to. Build is solid, sounds and feels great too(mx reds). So I’d recommend the ducky.

I just bought the Ducky one 2 SF, still waiting to be shipped... it’s compact 65% and It has the arrow keys. Not as compact as the one in your link but it’s a good keyboard.
