 It might work with the old Versas but I don't have one to compare. Now one thing about the Versa 4 is that on the left side of the device it has a button so you can actually have a clickable button now to move between some of your settings and I want to see the pass what I call the wrist test if I bend my wrist can I activate that button and no I cannot so if I push down my wrist I still can't even reach it maybe I just don't have bendable enough wrists or flexible enough wrists if you do this might be different but for me I can't I just can't get it to press this button on the side which is great because you don't want to pause in whatever activity you're doing like lifting weights or running you don't want to have it stop if you want it being tracked. Also when it comes to the exercises on the device I'm no longer limited to only six with the Charge 5 you could only load on six exercise types at a time now it has all of them so yes you have your base ones you use and the most frequent ones the top three are at the top of the display but you can go to an other section and actually select from a very large variety of exercises right from the device versus having to load them from the app and put them on instead. And something sorely missing on the Charge 5 is that readiness score again I bought the Charge 5 really for that main reason it didn't really pan out to be anything I really wanted to use but they didn't have it on the device to see you had to open the app but now you can actually go in and see it on the device itself the one thing they didn't do which I hope they update in the future is you can't put what's called a quick view of the readiness score you can do other things like calories and steps but the readiness score which I feel like would be perfect for the quick view is not something I can add there based on what I'm seeing in the app so that is something I hope they improve in the future but the pro here is that the readiness score is actually on the device

95 is a lot of money for me to spend on a watch um yeah it does do my fitness stuff and whatnot again it's not perfectly accurate as none of these are so I just think this is I feel like it's like a $150 item if that um I don't know I just don't like spending that much money on things yes I'm buying it and spending that much money to test on here so you guys can determine if you want to buy it for your home training I do think it is a great device I just don't know if it's worth like $230 ish dollars so that's just me if it fits you and you have the money go for it but otherwise you may not need it and can try for something cheaper and the next con is that there is sclare on screen it's not terrible yes you can hold it up and there's glare on screen but again that nice vibrant colored screen of the Versa 4 shines through and you can read everything just fine. All right now looking at a different con is my GPS test so I did a test where I did a bike route three times I'll go over why did it three and not two um but the first thing I didn't like about the GPS is how long it takes to connect to the GPS and two times so the first two times I tried it so I went to my bike app and turned it on it actually failed to connect to GPS so after that I kind of walked around and got it to work but I hope they're able to improve that so that it connects faster and more frequently as it might just be a software issue at this time but once I got it connected I was able to do the three tests so I did two back-to-back then I actually after the second one had dinner and came back and did the third one the main reason is on attempt number two I ran into an issue where I took the last turn coming back onto the start and I actually lost GPS connection entirely so one of them was basically just it just gave out it didn't have the full the full route unlike the other two my first and third attempts have the exact same route however they're about a tenth of a mile off maybe a little bit more 0.12 miles off from one another so that is a bit concerning so I think that it has some work to improve this GPS on the device from using the same exact path three times and getting three different results where the second one was the worst as it dropped entirely so if you're using this for like Spartan races or something like that you may want to shy away until some updates come out where I get some better results and to round out the cons the last one is this does get some fingerprints on it so I've had this for like a couple days and I clearly have some fingerprints on if I turn it into the light the right way not getting off the worst thing in the world it's easy to clean off it hasn't really affected my ability to use the device but it is something annoying when I have to pay two hundred and thirty dollars to have those fingerprints clearly on screen but in terms of scratches I have none yet I haven't tried to scratch it but after using for some time we'll see if it gets normal wear and tear and starts scratching up as I'm not going to protect it with anything for now to see what happens so my final thoughts on the Fitbit Versa 4 I really really like this device as I started with this will become my new fitness tracker watch whatever you want to call it if nothing changes I hope there are some improvements of course things like the GPS and some of the other features but overall this has really been a great start for my Versa experience so I'm starting with the Versa 4 and I hope it continues to go this way as it's basically just a Charge 5 that's a little bigger but has some of the features that are missing in the Charge 5 I really wanted oh yeah and the weather app so now the weather app is directly on the device it was something missing from the Charge 5 that I wish they brought back and they have it as its own screen on the Fitbit Versa 4 but maybe the Fitbit Charge 5 is more to your liking if so check out this one year review of the Fitbit Charge 5 if you think it is a better item for you and you want to see more information of it before making your final purchasing decision.

I disagree, my Fitbit versa has a worse time GPS tracking, died from my 5ft pool (water ingress), and was at times slow/clunky. Integration with iPhone was simply not as seamless as it was on android.

I've never tried an apple watch but had Fitbit sense for a week and I'm really enjoying it. Addicted to all the stats and great it all works through one app

For sole reason that Fitbit lasts for 5 days, i prefer it over Apple watch anyday. It does almost everything an iwatch does. So it's pointless to pay so much and charge the thing ever 18 hours.

It depends *what* you're talking about.

The Fitbit is an absolutely TERRIBLE smartwatch. So slow and laggy, even the simple UI can't function well. No way to see message threads, get email apps, etc. and no smartwatch features beyond notifications. But it has great battery life.

But it is a better fitness tracker, I can't argue that.

So it really depends what function you're referring to. Each watch is for a different purpose.

Apple Watch is a whole different class of device. Fitbit is great for tracking fitness and overall wellness in one place, but Apple Watch compatibility with iPhone is second to none. Many don’t really need all that can be offered from an Apple Watch, and Fitbit is great for those people. Simplicity is nice. 

That being said, I switched from a Charge 2 to an Apple Watch series 4 and I really haven’t looked back. I recently purchased a Sense because of, like you said, battery life of an Apple Watch. Couldn’t do it and returned it. There are just so many things that an AW can do on iOS versus what a Fitbit can.

I switched to Fitbit from Apple Watch and I love my Versa 3! I found the Apple Watch to be too big and bulky, the battery life was awful, and I was really only using the fitness tracking functionalities of the watch. I made the switch in November and I have zero regrets!

However, I never ever used all the apps it kept downloading and it constantly refuses to download any updates, which meant I had to remove it and spend a day resetting the whole thing.
Since I exercise a lot, and quite active as a whole, I wouldn’t ever get a whole days worth out of the AW battery. With Fitbit, I can get 3 and I even wear it to bed. I could never wear my AW to bed. 
For what I need it, the Fitbit is just right for me.

 We have a copper casing and a rose colored band and the current prices as of recording are $299.99 Canadian and $229.99 American. So now I'm going to go into the major spec highlights about this watch so you can get an idea about what it can do

 We do have a variety of options. So talking about cons here one con for me is that when I am doing GPS activities I like to do intervals like running and walking for example and if I am doing intervals I find that the pace that the smartwatch is showing during my GPS you know runs it does take some time for it to adjust and pick up on your speed change. Another major con for me is that there is no music functionality on this smartwatch. For this price point I think we should definitely have music options on here

 So one thing I really like about Fitbit is that we do get hourly step reminders or your goal reminders for me to steps and I like that because often you know you can be sitting for a while and then an hour has passed and you're like oh I didn't really walk I was just you know watching a video or doing something so I like getting those hourly reminders that just get you up and going, get you stepping so you can get that $2.50 an hour. Alright guys so this is what it looks like on me and I do have a 7 inch wrist and I'm currently wearing the large band here. This does fit a variety of wrist sizes and I have all the wrist sizes that can fit for you guys on screen

 So this watch has a AMOLED color display, it has touchscreen operation, it has an optional always on display, a battery life up to 6 days, it has sleep tracking, 24 hour heart rate monitoring with high and low heart rate alerts, it has Alexa voice assistant, it tracks a variety of workouts such as running, swimming and yoga, it tracks a variety of daily metrics like your calories burned, your steps, your distance walked, it also has built in GPS, it has Fitbit pay, you can view and reply to smartphone notifications and I've listed some more things for you on screen. Now these are not all of the specs about this watch but these are the most important I think. Fitbit Versa 4 Review - After 30 Days

If I start playing music or navigating on my phone, there's always an easy shortcut to access it on my watch. Overall, very happy with my purchase. This thing rocks.
