Germanium Fuzz Face

For those listed musicians -- I think you are best off looking at the EQD Hoof (or their more expansive Hoof Reaper), Germanium Fuzz Face (or the mini version), or a Big Muff Deluxe (crazy versatile). Those neo-blues guys like Gary Clark, Black Keys, and of course Hendrix are all into those more open, raunchy sounding fuzzes.

It works really nicely after the preamp for when I want to push things a little further and maybe add a little more sparkle. Definitely have found it easier to dial in a nice tone with it compared to the Soul Food. The small footprint sweetens the deal. **Benson Germanium Fuzz:**.

Benson Germanium Fuzz - this is a new pedal and I’m not a big fuzz guy so I didn’t know what to expect. I’ve been stacking it with the Looking Glass and reverb for default and everything sounds nice and thick. Other pedals provide more nasty fuzz sounds but I’ve come to approach this currently as a second OD gain stage with mild fuzziness to thicken my sound out.
