My new Nest Doorbell (battery) arrived on Thursday last week and I fully charged it before installing. It's been 8 days now and it's dropped to 25% battery, saying it has only 2 days battery life remaining. It records around 5–10 events a day. Based on Google's help documentation, I would have expected at least a month with this many events so only 10 days is incredibly disappointing.

The first Hello lasted less than 2 years before the sun baked off the protective outer film which let water in and killed the camera. This was replaced under warranty by Nest. Whole troubleshooting this issues the Nest technician I was working with said my doorbell was hitting temps of 140F before it would shut off.
