 Weighing in at 8.1 ounces, it is typically a little bit heavier than what I would use, but every time I say that and then I review the paddle, I like the extra benefit of the stability and the thickness of this paddle too. It gave me a really, really soft touch, but anytime I'd miss hit a ball, I felt like it was still landing in and I was still able to get that ball, muscle that ball over the net. It has that fiberglass hitting surface, so I'm going to snap that power out of it, but polymer honeycomb core, so I also get that soft touch

I bought this for my son who plays a lot and he liked how it hit but it broke in his second game. We’ve never had a paddle break before. It snapped where the handle meets the paddle. I have been unable to get in touch with the company to request a refund or a replacement

This is a good paddle it is heavy for me and the weight is head heavy. I am a beginner and am looking for something a little lighter with a more balanced weight distribution.

 I have only played with this paddle briefly but so far I'm extremely pleased. Great weight, nice grip and good shot control. I've only gotten to use this a few times because of the pandemic. But it's wonderful, lightweight, and lots of snap and accuracy to shots

 My first head paddle is now my favorite of my arsenal. Love the balance in the weight 8.1 oz. I don't feel I need to overswing when using this paddle

HEAD Radical Elite Pickleball Paddle review

Works well and is faster and lighter than the wooden ones

 I don’t see the need to rewrap the handle to make it thicker. Other people in my beginner group liked the grip too. Few commented that even with smaller hands it didn’t feel bulky. The face has a little bit of texture to add spin to the ball but nowhere near as much as other paddles on the market

 I wouldn’t hesitate to purchase again for the discounted price I paid. If paying full price I would look for a paddle with a more textured surface that is available in the same price point.
