 What I’m disappointed in: the top of the handle has already begun slipping down and I’ve had to re-wrap it. I haven’t had it for very long (a few months) and play 2x a week so for the price this is for sure a let down. It already shows a lot of marks. I’ve seen older, more frequently used paddles look way less ‘beat up’

 Not a huge deal obv but I would rather it sounded/reacted in the norm. I would not get this paddle again but instead will try a different brand (next time) in hopes to have one that holds up better, and is less loud.

 I mean, I guess if you want more grip, that grip tape, I don't really have, it's never flown out of my hands. Because you're always taught you're not supposed to hold the handle real tight, or you kind of lose. No, you kind of want to finesse, otherwise you'll over grip it and then you get tendonitis in your arm. See, I do know things

 I've had this one for a year and it's been fine. This is one thing, somebody said I didn't like the slippery handle. It feels like if you start sweating, it might get a little slippery. It's coated, it's got a grip to it

Overall a great paddle, the only issue was a few weeks into playing (about a dozen games) the wrapping on the handle started to lossen up little bit. Unfortunately I don't get to play that often, but the grip gradually was becoming undone. Good paddle, not so good grip attachment.

Light weight

 Yeah, yeah, no, I kind of started with a big composite 8.7 Z5, so I went down in weight, but I kind of stuck with it. And now that this is the newer design, is there a difference in the paddle between that and the older design? The older design was a, it was a heavier composite, so I could, I would barely swing and the ball would fly right off. So as I got better, I moved to a lighter paddle because I get a little better touch

 I don't have it, so I got to stick with this. And I gotta say, the Z5 is a paddle a lot of people actually started with. Yeah, yeah, no, I kind of started with a big composite 8.7 Z5, so I went down in weight, but I kind of stuck with it

 So anyway, the Z5, the summer reading program. Yeah, that overdue book, I apologize. I'll get it. I'll get it in soon

Played 6 games for the first time with this paddle. Got a small blister and handle is short and grip is below average eg compared to a paddle I have at much lower price. Fix the handle and it’s a pretty good product

Good paddle but handle needs work

i bought this paddle and after 4-5 matches the tape holding the grip on started to peel off. It is now too late for me to return it so I have to regrip the paddle

 I love the feel of this paddle but the grip needs work so I removed a star.  Update 8/29 Very happy with this purchase. Widebody paddle is very forgiving on not so perfect hits. I play 2 or 3 times a week and durability seems fine

3/22 Like many I had trouble with grip getting loose. I bought Gamma over grip and installed myself. What a difference. Get the Gamma over grip tape and unleash your beast!!  9/12 For those of us playing in the heat of summer that grip the handle near the paddle face I have also experience the tape becoming loose and it threatens unraveling the grip
