I loved the laptop when I first got it. The graphics are sharp and the audio function is better than what I expected on a laptop. However, I noticed that the battery life was not very long so I called the technical department of Amazon and was told some ways to save on the battery's life. I don't charge it only halfway, I wait until I get the error message that I am down to 10%, and then I charge it fully until the orange light turns to blue.  Gaming Desktops are good but far to expensive for a great one. I own one but rarely play it, especially if you want a 4K 60fps experience, that won't even come close to happening on one of these. Like I said get a Series X. Especially from this site for $499!!

It would be okay if HP would keep up with the latest mid range GPU's, but in this the 1650TI is nearly 3 years old and they actually still sell the 1650 for $699!! Not good. So it's decent for older games, but most games past 2016-2017 or so is going to struggle majorly. The processor is good, though an I5 is not "ideal" for gaming, especially with only a quad-core version. I would recommend just getting an Xbox Series X when you can, for retail price

Old Tech, Newer Processor

 The 1650 TI paired with the I5 is a solid performer for running games at 1080P at good frame rates. I can spend 2 to 3 hours playing games on this with it comfortably sitting on my lap, so the cooling is doing it's job well enough. Though I will say it is a little warmer than I'd like when just doing things like browsing the web and watching videos, some slightly larger exhaust ports could resolve that. The storage is a little tight on this but you can upgrade that and the ram easily enough if you need or want to which is good

Great bang for the buck

 I am able to run Skyrim Special Edition with mods and the game did not lag at all . The computer is fast running and worked amazingly for what I wanted to do . I am happy with this laptop but do think I'll end up needing to buy another drive internal or external .
