Past season I was under a similar situation. I was also thinking about getting the Feelgood camber, even my loved board was the Jones Flagship, but I thought it would be stiffer and harder to ride (also, most of the people around me told me that i wouldn’t be able to ride more than 1 morning with it due to its stiffness...). But I decided to trust my instincts and follow “my heart”, so picked the Flagship, and I can say that I couldn’t be happier with it and it was a game changer. But that’s just my opinion and personal experience ;-).

EST/channel sucks. Go get some 4x4 (reflex) cartels, ride c8, or now select pro bindings and a k2 raygun, Capita mercury, Salomon craft, Jones ultra flagship, amplid surfari... So many better choices away from Burton.

The flagship is directional but you can get a Mountain Twin which has more flex but crushes switch. Jones boards are the highest quality and most durable boards I’ve ridden compared to lib tech and Burton. Definitely check out the range!.

I keep this in my quiver as my ice board, which feels like a rocket on rails. I grew up riding between Snowbird, UT, and Sugarloaf, ME (CVA), and this is my favorite ice board to date in over 30+ years. I also rock a Jones Flagship for less ice, big MT or tight trees and a Burton Custom for fun side hits, park, and pop. Good luck!.

The flagship is just not playful enough. I'm really only familiar with jones line up (boards all acquired through used market! ), so I'll only speak to them but any brand recc welcome. I love the agility of the stormchaser, so I was thinking about a shorter mind expander twin.

I couple this with a powder-shredding Jones Flagship 165W(even though the widest is a 169W, none were available at the time) which to my surprise was plenty enough even for the fluffiest, deepest powder Japan could throw at me. It's awkward going between the Jones and Never Summer board if I attempt pow riding on the NS Westbound I am Tomahawking all day as I don't require shifting my weight to the rear when on the Jones. In fact I can put my weight forward and let the beautiful Jones Spoon tech keep me afloat.
