 So you kind of tighten that strap to whichever position is comfortable for your child. So that's the most upright position there. So this seat has a three position five point adjustable harness and to adjust that you just need to refeed it through the back here. So you can also adjust the height and then the width as well

 You just flip this back lever, unlock that and push the whole thing forward. If the seats recline it'll kind of sit back a little bit. The frame locks if you are running to your gate or need to kind of transport it really quickly you have this strap as well. Juvie takes that one step further and added a piece at the bottom to allow it to stand on its own which to me is one of the best features because often when you're traveling or when you're out somewhere you want it to stay where you put it and it never does

 So this stroller runs on eight five and a half inch wheels and I like this configuration because it does give you more maneuverability over a large variety of terrains. So this stroller will go over uneven pavement, grass, gravel, a little bit of sand. I wouldn't take it over the beach, but this really is your one and done travel stroller. If you do live in an urban city where you don't have a lot of room to store a bigger stroller and a travel stroller, this guy could be your from birth to forever stroller as well because it does have that weight range from from birth to 55 pounds

 Now, putting the seat up, it's not my favorite. I don't mind a strap recline, but this is a two-handed strap recline in order to put up, because you have to pull both straps like that in order to get it up. So I would love to see just a one-handed recline. That would just be awesome

 But if you're just going on every day around, about and around, then I would just go ahead and keep them unlocked. The back here, there are individual brakes. You're going to step down on each one to lock it into place, and then lightly touch it to let it go free. It's definitely flip-flop friendly because it's very easy to do

 So let's start with the seat. The seat is newborn ready all the way up to 55 pounds. Yes, you can put a newborn right in the seat, and we'll get to that in a second, but let's do the seat measurements first. It's 14-inch wide with an 18-inch seat back in the measurement from the back of the seat to the top of the canopy up here of 27 inches

Joovy Groove Ultralight 2017 Umbrella Stroller Review

 Perhaps a stroller than folded in half from the back area instead of sprawling out into one long piece. This thing is huge when collapsed, I have trouble fitting it diagonal across my trunk and the metal stand with the plastic piece (for the self-standing stroller aspect) sticks out from the wheels. It’s a very nice quality material, looks very smart, has a lot of features (the adjustable footrest is very nice), is easy to push and maneuver, but please fix the opening/closing mechanisms. The stroller is too long to close gracefully without feeling silly and awkward

 If you push it to the ground then the closed canopy/head area is next to the ground. So pick whichever seems less dirty, and hope the walkway was clean and dry. Snow/ice melt & dirty wheels are not a great combo. The mechanism for folding is lacking and not an easy movement, one pedal on the back is to be pushed down while the tiny side pedal is to be pushed up, even though the side pedal looks to be shaped as if you also push it down

Moves great but opening/closing is awkward

 Basically, once she’s in it and we’re walking it’s fine, lol. If I could do it all over again, I’d probably pick something else.

 when it was given back to me at destination - the lip of cupholder mount was snapped off and the cupholder was barely holding on ( broke off toally next day).  Folding going off and on buses non stop at Disney ( did not see anyone have one of these besiy me kn my entire trip!)  - the part that folds into the canopy gets stuck every time , need to smackbit or gently guide as you fold  - cupholder built into canopy very unstable - should come with a cross handlebar holder that folds?? - after my other cupholder broke it was all I had!  -all gear on bottom of stroller must be taken out every fold - guess this is the trade-off of an umbrella  - one hand lowering / raising of seatback is near impossible  - carry strap is nice but inevitably you get whacked or stabbed by something metal when slinging around.  - canopy Velcro removed every time you fold stroller - need to use snaps or some bigger / stronger velcro  + Wheels are smooth

Falls short of expectations

  I'm happy to say that this stroller hasn't gotten much use from me now that my daugther is walking well. I would not recommend this stroller simply based on the amount of effort needed to push it.  The only good thing I like about it, is the fact the handle height accommodates taller people which was one of the reasons why I picked this stroller, as I'm 5'8 height.  Overall I would not recommend based on my experience

 Also the mesh part that goes up to prevent newborn from sliding off was useless . My baby was baby was blue to kick his legs over it .staros don’t shorten enough for a two month old. Essentially the stroller was not practical for a newborn for quick trips 

 Made his head roll off and was super uncomfortable . I added a padded seat cover but that didn’t help much . Also the mesh part that goes up to prevent newborn from sliding off was useless . My baby was baby was blue to kick his legs over it 

staros don’t shorten enough for a two month old. Essentially the stroller was not practical for a newborn for quick trips .  I agree with everyone else , not easy to close, and when it does it is much bulkier than I expected for an umbrella stroller
