Kailh BOX Switches

i used Kailh Box Navys at work (loud lab) and moved to a open work space, within 3 days i got complaints that i was ruining conference calls. I had new parts on the way to replace it, i thought i could get by a couple weeks while i waited for them.

I don't know if it's the seller, or just the nature of keyswitches being sent in a plastic bag but a lot of pins were bent, and one was bent so bad when I bent it back it snapped off. One of them even split into two which was strange. The switches I assume work perfectly fine, I haven't had any issu...

Lily58 Pro PCB, Kailh Box Red Switches, Macaw Cherry Profile Keycaps, nice!nano Bluetooth microcontrollers, and Roller mouse.

Switches itself are good. Came packaged in nice box. However, when you receive them, be sure to count how many are exactly in. I ordered 90 and was surprised I only received 87. Good thing that my keyboard layout is 83 keys so I still had some leftover but for those who are trying to order the exact...

(Though in retrospect I would have went with a Ducky who have much better CS, just in case I would need it for whatever reason.) I always thought that Razer mech and optical switches were nice but not until I tried some Kailh Box Jades with proper non-rattling lubed stabilizers -- my mind was blown. Now I want to build my own keyboard and experiment with hot-swappable switches...

After getting through the install on a 84 key board, 2 had mangled pins, 1 with no click, 4 as of the writing of this review, just don't work. Keep finding new ones. QC leaves something to be desired but I'm to lazy to pull them all to return them. Hopefully others have better experience

Kailh BOX switches contain their contacts in a small box separate from the plunger which supposedly makes them water/dust resistant; I'm thinking about picking up some silent BOX pinks for an OTG board. You might also want to use a PCB/case that has drainage holes, or maybe put a gap at the bottom of the tilt it it has one so that water doesn't pool on the board as you rush to unplug it.

I had a keyboard project that used 64 keys. ordered the "65" key bundle, figured one might not work or what not. After slotting them all in place, there were only 63. Luckily all of them have worked so far, except for the one that, y'know, doesn't exist.

Clicky - IMHO nothing beats Kailh Box Jades!!. Remember to lube all these switches, except the Box Jades if you choose clicky. These mods are all really worth while and I promise you you’ll be the happiest you’ve ever been click clacking away at the keyboard. To keep it short and simple, most of the pins came bent and some even split in half. If you’re fine with spending extra time bending the pins back into place, this is a decent buy. I would recommend buying these off of kbdfans instead.
