 It feels like it pushes a lot of your weight down to your down to your toe, which is Nabal to enables you to stand on edges special on steep ground without really having to use your core too much to put pressure through your toe they're just comfortable. That'S the thing which I found is I've got a slightly wider fee. They kind of fit a wider foot better I'd advise anyone from kind of a beginner intermediate level to start using them, because there really are very comfortable, they just incredibly versatile. So you can really use them for anything

 Bought these shoes because I couldn't find solutions in my size, have had skwama's in the past, didn't had these issues before.

Poor Quality - Back of shelf shoes

 The midsole provides a little extra support, but i've never found it to really hamper the overall flexibility of the shoe while climbing the shoes are a microfiber and suede construction with a single velcro strap for easy. Securing the soles are designed with a removed piece of rubber to allow more flexibility and contact with the surface regarding stretching expect a bit of stretch after breaking them in for reference. My street shoe size is a uk six with my squamous size to a uk four and a half the toe patch at the top is seated pretty high up giving you plenty of coverage and, from my experience very little delaminate, so another tip for the design. Is there, though, do expect just a little bit if you tend to do a lot of tow hooks, it's a very thin patch of rubber, so there's plenty of freedom for you to move your feet into the desired positions

 When you put everything together, you get a vacuum-like fit that leaves virtually no air pockets around the heel. Honestly, it's amazingly comfortable and i legitimately consider this - the cinderella glass slipper of the climbing world. Of course, it always has to be said that everyone's feet profiles are different, so someone with a narrower foot most likely will find it a bit roomier. But as far as i'm concerned, this is probably the best fitting shoe for my lineup and if it fits you, i highly doubt you'll be complaining

The asymmetrical design ensures power to the big toe with the toe box catering for those who have a bit of a wider foot. Nothing specifically new, but i do have to say it feels like these shoes were just meant for my feet

La Sportiva Skwama Review: If Cinderella had a climbing shoe

5 - 7, and I ended up getting these in a 6.5 (37.5) (I also tried a size 7 (38 EU), but the heels were too roomy despite my toes being scrunched.)

- Since I have flat feet, there is a lot of material on the top of my foot — cranking down the strap doesn’t really do much in terms of fit since the elastic lining is quite thick, but it’s not a problem for me since the shoe is tight lengthwise from heel to toe.

Coming from a pair of Evolv Kiras (which fit my feet almost perfectly), my toes had a bit of a hard time adjusting to the aggressive profile of the Skwamas. My street shoe size is usually a women’s 6.5 - 7, and I ended up getting these in a 6.5 (37

Great performance but the heels don't fit me

 I wear 36.5 in the La Sportiva Miura, Futura, and Python, and I also bought 36.5 for the Skwama which fits a tiny bit bigger than the other shoes, although they do fit me well. I would maybe recommend sizing down a half size, but only if you like a really tight fit

 All in all, I like the shoe design so far and am very happy with the purchase. I'm also excited to take them out on real rock, where I think the shoes will do well for both technical edging and smearing. Thanks La Sportiva for making a custom women's shoe that fits well and isn't pink!

A comfortable, technical shoe

The upper toe rubber is lacking - after a month of use it’s already beginning to peel back and separate from the leather shoe upper. There isn’t as much of it, or it isn’t as thick as other shoes, and you can feel the difference.

I’m trying shoes other than Solutions because I’m fed up with the strap always breaking. Naturally, I wanted to try other sportiva shoes, and opted for the womens’ skwama (lower volume because heel cup fit is a key consideration for me). After a trip to Red Rocks and many gym sessions, I can conclude that it just can’t quite measure up to the standard the Solutions have set. My biggest qualms with the Skwama include:
