I really want to try the Purple Hybrid Premier 4, however the price difference between a King and Split King is insane. Every other vendor I've seen might charge $100-$200 more between those sizes in order to account for shipping 2 packages vs one, but Purple is charging $1700 more when the damn things are the same overall size. I tried chatting with a person via the website and they told me the split king at the higher price was actually a great deal considering I was getting not one, but two mattresses! Completely discounting the fact that the dimensions between the two are identical. 

If anyone has any info on why such a drastic price difference is actually justified, that'd be great, otherwise I mainly just wanted to vent. Thanks!

 With other companies, those refund claims end up being a hassle - not with Layla. I donated my mattress, turned in the receipt and was promptly refunded the cost. Amazing company! I would definitely recommend you give this mattress a try - my husband loved it so you might love it too. But if you don't, they will work with you and honor their promise

 with the cover. Here it is going to be soft and breathable. Also has some cooling materials infused into its surface so should be a nice cooling cover beneath that. We're going to have the main comfort layer of the soft side of this mattress

 Moving to my stomach though. definitely not support under my hips so I'm not blowing in there. I'm not getting out of alignment. The firm side's a much better match for stomach sleeping

 Now as I said before, it is flippable. So we're going to start off on the soft side and then work down to the firm side. with the cover. Here it is going to be soft and breathable

Hi all, like the title says, I’m overwhelmed! I’m 5’0”, 110 pounds, side sleeper. Husband is 6’0” 180 pounds side sleeper. 

We got a memory foam mattress 6 years ago when we built our house, not expensive, says it’s a 5.3 visco elastic memory foam layer and a 3.3 visco elastic memory foam layer, and I put a super soft memory foam topper on it. I’m miserable! Last night 3 times waking up with a numb arm, I wake up feeling awful constantly, super painful shoulders/neck which lead to migraines. 

We live in a small town but have a mattress firm. I tried and fell in love with the Sealy Hybrid Premium™ Silver Chill 14" Plush Mattress. My husband also loved it. I don’t love the price, but I’m also miserable. 

I read up on DIY but am so overwhelmed (maybe because I’m exhausted? lol) and don’t know where to start. Petite and overwhelmed!

 This one did nothing but increase the pain. The sides are soft so there’s no support on the side of your looking for that in a mattress. One you lay down it’s a struggle to move into a different position. That’s a lot of money wasted

I don't use a shikibuton but my floor mattress is the Milliard Tri-fold 6" Memory Foam Mattress and I love it. It was sub 200 and I don't need to put a tatami math underneath for ventilation. The first week was an adjustment period and I realized I liked sleeping on it better when the cushions were flipped (because the bottom of the cushion had more firm foam). My back and neck ached but then 1 week later this bed felt like I was lying on clouds
