Does anyone else own a Lenovo IdeaPad S145? I bought one about 2 years ago. It was so slow out of the box starting up and especially when running multiple applications. So I did a little research about any known issues with it and found most people had to purchase more memory right after they bought it to get it to start up in decent time and run multiple apps smoothly. So I upgraded the memory and it definitely made a big difference. The fact I had to right away is ridiculous but that's another discussion. I have been very careful not to big it down with bullshit and keep it clean but I am seriously underwhelmed with its performance. It still starts ridiculously slow and there are times when it is slow responding and loading simple things. Does anyone else who has purchased this particular laptop or a Lenovo laptop just feel like it's kind of garbage? I can honestly say I don't think I'll buy another Lenovo laptop ever. I had a Toshiba Satellite for about 10 years before this and it was just a much better product. It seems to do everything slow and I don't even know if I want to waste another $40 adding a little more memory or just sell it because it is just not an impressive laptop in any facet. It's my first Lenovo purchase and probably my last. Anyone have a Lenovo they absolutely love?

I’d suggest a lenovi ideapad. I’ve been using my 330s for a few years and it’s perfect. Value wise, Lenovo ideapad is the best out there imo.

Decent small-ish laptop for college students ? (under $500)

&nbsp;  It does not get any cheaper than this. The Lenovo IdeaPad 1 14IGL05 offers a very poor level of performance, because of its very low price tag.However, the Lenovo IdeaPad 1 is simply too slow to recommend as a secondary device for kids or as a school laptop. It is not completely unusable
