A very, very good laptop here. Love the performance out of that Ryzen 5 5600H.

This is a nice, minimal workstation laptop. It's modern.

I like the build of the Yoga Slim 7 but it’s not good enough for higher end games (at least medium 60fps). What do you think is the best laptop right in between these two? Good metal ‘premium’ build but is powerful enough to run more demanding games at at least 60 fps medium settings?

Lenovo Yoga Slim 7 with Ryzen 7 4700u. Asus Zenbook 14 with Ryzen 5 5500u or Ryzen 7 5700u (I'd try to get 400 nit 1W screen). Both have 16GB RAM (ideally would like 32GB, but couldn't find anything mid-range that offers it and don't want to compromise general build quality and battery to get Lenovo IdeaPad 5), similar battery times, positive reviews, etc, so the only difference is processor and build quality/durability/style.

\- Yoga Slim 7, 14", Ryzen 5 4500U OR Ryzen 5 5600U (trying to decide whether to buy the 2020 one as it has excellent reviews, especially for battery life, or the 2021 one which seems a bit less popular), 16 GB RAM, 512 GB SSD. \- ThinkPad E15, 15.6", Ryzen 5 5500U, 16 GB RAM, 512 GB SSD. Another option would be the ThinkPad E14 with similar specs.

The Lenovo (Ideapad) Yoga Slim 7 has stood out to me as the kind of thing it seems like I would like and seems good quality and good value, with an aluminium chassis, glass trackpad, Ryzen 4500u, good screen, 8GB LDDR4X RAM, 256GB SSD, at under £700, and it has a modern minimalistic boxy design that appeals to me. I'm not particularly pushed for time and I don't want to have buyer's remorse when I do get around to buying a laptop. I don't have a particular budget in mind, but I don't want to get ripped off.
