So, some backstory: my dad does research in bioinformatics and machine learning, and built a GPU accelerated PC for processing. He got €3000 from the university to spend on "technology" for his research, but it was going to expire in january 2021, so had to spend it before then. So he bought a PC (rack) with a 3090, just for the GPU power for machine learning. But now, the university told him he's not allowed to use local processing as the whole uni switched to google cloud computing (google colab pro). So then he asked me if I wanted to do anything with it and happily said yes. 
I actually regularly help other people on the sub, but I always appreciate different opinions. 

Current spec: 9600K, 16GB Corsair Vengeance 3200 CL16, MSI Z390 A-Pro, NZXT H500 case, Scythe mugen 5 cooler, 3 extra nzxt 120mm fans, 1TB Samsung 850QVO Data SSD, 2x 6TB WD Blue drives.
75 Hz 1440p IPS monitor (Acer Nitro)

Would upgrading make a big difference? What would you recommend? I have about $1100 to spend

Hi, as the title says, I haven’t been able to decide on which case to pick for my first build. The cases that I can’t decide between are Lian li o11 dynamic or mini version, Corsair 4000d airflow and Meshify 2 compact. Would appreciate some opinions. Btw; will purchase an aio.

<p>Edit: I went with the meshify 2 compact. The reason for this is because the tint on the black corsair 4000d is very dark and I wanted a clear glass panel in order to let my RGB be more visible. Didn&#39;t go for the o11 since I wanted lian li unifans for it and it was out of stock. Happy with my case it&#39;s a good compact size and I have good airflow. Thanks to everyone for their input!</p>

Got myself a RTX 3080 but what case should I get ? Help me out 🙏🏼

 The side AIO is set-up in a Pull config, since I have the newer Noctua NF-A12x25 and I was trying to hide them. This requires a 240 rad and not a 360. Also, the rad needs to be mid mounted, or else the front panel cables get in the way. You don't have this issue in a push, but since temps aren't really any different I was trying to hide the brown fans

 I am looking at it long-term, since Gamers Nexus had their front panel glue weaken over time, and I'm hoping that was a fluke.

 I set it up, in a way many reviewers worked best for cooling. It has two Noctua Chromax fans bringing in air from the top and bottom. The top mount is directly over the VRMs for the X470 Taichi board. The pic isn't a glamour shot, but just to show what I mean

Lian Li O11 Dynamic (if you like the fishtank look). There's more out there, but these are some solid cases which I recommend to all. Just bare in mind that the Lian Li O11 Dynamic does not come with any pre-installed fans, so you will have to buy some unlike the Meshify 7 and the 4000D/5000D. In terms of cooling go for what offers the best performance to price ratio, including looks, if that's what you're into

Due to my lack of knowledge of building a gaming pc I found a website offering customizable gaming PCs with assembly and installation included. 

Here is my proposed set-up, please let me know if its a good choice to go for, parts are complementary or if i could get something better for my money atm.
