Using the provided software and integrated compatibility lists, I am able to run "macro"-like tasks whenever buttons are pressed. IE: I press the TV button and it turns on my TV, changes to Input 1, turns on my receiver, and turns on my cable box. From there, the Volume buttons control the receiver, Channels, List, Guide, etc.

The home automation buttons on the remote are similarly simple to use. You configure the four buttons to activate specific devices or perform specific tasks through the app. It took about a minute to set a button on the remote to switch my Philips Hue White Ambient lights ($299

Controls my Xbox and stuff like my Apple TV with no issue. Being able to customise the remote with button mapping helps a great deal (the harmony actually has 4 coloured buttons that match perfectly to the face buttons on an Xbox controller).

I like to sleep cool, but go to bed warm, so I let HA control all my thermostats, or even make smart thermostats for dumb heaters with a smart wall outlet and a temp sensor. works great!.

Stopped playing nice with my Logitech Harmony - it once was perfectly fine. Since the move from GPM to YT music it is terrible at media lookup and commands. Won't even default to using Youtube Music as the source and defaults **instead to regular youtube** for often-crappy fan-made covers of popular songs or worse, pulls the videos for these up and plays them on a screen in another part of the house. Iand I have set the default music service to YT Music and set up rooms inthe house so wtf.
