Solid functional keyboard with terrible LED key lights

 Now all I have to do is find a different keycap set as I HATE that goofy style with keycap labels like "/ ?" I love the look of those pudding keycaps with the clear acrylic at the bottom and black shine through tops. The only problem is they have the exact same keycap labeling as the K845.

logitech keyboards are extremly good, if u are buying a mechanical keyboard you should look at what type of switches does it have, blues are clicky, tactile and loud, red are quieter and linear, browns are in between. Also among logitech you should also look at redragon keyboards as they are cheaper.

I recently bought a steel series Apex 7 and swapped it for this one because I fell in love with the design it uses the same linear reds as the Apex 7 that I paid 3x the price for. Best sub $150 pre-built keyboard I've used.

I'm thinking about buying a keyboard. I originally was thinking about some of the big name brands like the razer huntsman mini or the ducky one two but then I saw the GK and the RK and Sk 61's. What's the difference between them? Are the huntsman or the ducky or GMMK worth the extra $60 (cad)? What more do they offer? I'm not a huge keyboard guy. I'd mainly use the keyboard for gaming. I'd probably care most about functionality/performance and sound.

I'm trying to dive into the mechanical keyboard world and away from my [Dell CJ645](https://www.cpumedics.com/dell-cj645-black-french-canadian-usb-wired-keyboard-for-dell-desktop-computers/).  
 
I'm hoping for, in following priority:  
1. easy to clean.  
2. the supposed better feel of the mechanical keyboard.  
3. potentially easier play starcraft II with group hotkeys beyond #5.

It looks nice and it features lit keys so I can play games without the lights on.   If you are someone who prioritises RGB over functionality - this is not a review for you. This keyboard has back-lighting, but it is a white-ish glow without any real color. If that's a problem for you - then I suggest you waste your money on one of those $150-$200 units that are notorious for breaking within a year. I see a lot of negative comments on the lack of RGB - and I wonder if these same ppl complain that their cake is not a pie or if their car is not a truck

This review is for the Cherry-MX version.  This was not a 'cheap' keyboard. But it wasn't $150 USD either. But I have, thus far (a week into use) found the keyboard to be a quality-built unit
