Everything changed for me after entering the world of ROOM EQ, no more weird or forced sounds everything became cleaner and smoother the bass is now the right amount and it's amazing. The upgrade is comparable to going from a logitech system to KEF Q350. Incredible how speaker position and room can affect the sound so much. My current setup: 2xKEF Q350, Marantz PM6006, MiniDSP 2x4 HD, Magnat 302A Sub for a near-field listening on the desktop.

First setup, let me know how I did.

Marantz PM6006 Amplifier /. Pro-ject Debut Carbon. This was my first go at a set up, and after doing the research, this is what I settled for. So far, I'm enjoying the sound of vinyls and my speakers.

To give you an example of something I didn't enjoy was when I swithed from originally listening to my HD6XX on my Marantz PM6006 to a Schiit Magni 3. I found the sound really anemic and lacking any body and after \~6 months I ended up selling that amp and moving to the Little Dot.

Added Pro-Ject Debut Carbon Espirit, Cambridge DAC, Blue Jeans Cables, and setup speakers according to PS Audio “The Audiophile’s Guide.” Base system is Marantz PM6006 integrated amp, Paradigm Reference Studio 20 v5’s, and Marantz CC4003 CD changer. Currently listening through Beyerdynanic 770’s as the kiddo is asleep. Overall this system sounds great to me. Good imaging and warm sound for a <$2k setup.
