Last weekend my Traeger crapped out on me. 40 degree temp swings in both directions, and even had a fire after unplugging the unit due to excessive smoke. I cleaned it after every use, and I've had it with this grill. I'm looking for unbiased advice on what type of pellet grill I should buy. No brand shaming, just please give me your honest feedback. 

I'm not opposed to getting a new traeger, but I really like PitBoss grills. It seems like you get more bang for your buck. 

The MOST important factor in my purchase is Reliability. I want a grill that will keep temperatures consistent, get accurate probe readings, and will hold heat well.

I have never grilled before but have a new house with a decent spot for it. I originally wanted to just buy one of those griddles and make breakfast/random stuff on it, but I’d like to get a combo device so I can also start working on grilling. I’m noticing despite having seen pics of them before, I am not seeing many “two in ones” or side by sides on the market. Instead I see things mentioning how many burners it has easy burners BTU etc.

Is there just like a griddle ‘plate’ you put on 2 (4?) of the specific burners and use that to make it work? Is it truly as rare as it seems for a grill + griddle? Are you meant to get them separate?

Welcome any recommendations; I also have generic “How many burners, what is a good BTU” etc Qs but I can find that Googling - The product help I’m struggling with.

Shopping for grill, not sure what to look for

.their build quality has always been less than stellar. Yet, this product checked a lot of boxes for me so I decided to give them a shot. (Usually would've been a hard pass but a Wifi/BT temp controlled gravity-fed charcoal cooker was very intriguing

Currently have Weber 26. For the past 6 months or so I have been going back and forth between Yoder Smokers YS640S and Yoder Smokers Cheyenne.

Went to Costco today and noticed [this one](https://imgur.com/a/xge0AsM). I didn't realize there are charcoal grills that come with a digital controller.

* On my Weber I usually just use about 90% wood and 10% charcoal (apart from searing). Can I even use pieces of wood in this one?
* Is there anyone here who tried the Gravity one and can share some light on how good or bad it is?
* Any idea how reliable the controller is?

Any help would be appreciated, thanks!
