I know you can’t get rid of pores but I’m wondering is there anyway to make them smaller? I use La Roche Posay products. They keep my acne mostly at bay but I feel like my pores are just so large. Part of it is genetic, but just wondering if there’s anything else I can do at home to help. Thanks!

Not Sure What to Think of It.

 The kansbol is double the price and came unsharpened, the machining is choppy looking on the brushed portion and the blade has surface scratches right out of the box. The surface scratches are fine because I'm going to be using the knife and it will get scratched any way but I wish the machining was cleaner. You can see the blade is meant to have a scandi-type grind but for some reason they attempted to put a microbevel on my edge. I say attempted because they only succeeded in rounding it off

Versatile, but not quite what I was hoping for.

I have a quite few Moras and certainly didn't need any more but I had to give this one a shot for about $30. Fist thing is first. This Kansbol looks intimidating from the side but is actually quite anemic from the top. It tapers off to about a millimeter which does not instill confidence

 The Kansbol handle is rubberized as apposed to the harder plastic handle on the Garberg which makes drawing the blade a bit annoying with the stock belt loop. You need 2 hands to draw it. I tried it with the Garberg sheath with the same result. Hopefully it loosens with more use but I have been using a custom leather with it lately so I may never find out

This was my first Mora and after all the stellar reviews, I was super excited to see it arrive today. I've got to say, however, that my enthusiasm quickly dissipated when I pulled it out out of the sheath. It was immediately obvious from the nicks and fingerprints across the blade, along with the rediculously uneven edge that the quality control was lacking when they finished and packaged mine. It's not that I'm somebody who worries about my knives looking pretty, but I'd like them to be sharp, and I think quality control is important

 I'd like to try again, and hope that we can just chaulk this particular knife up to my own bad luck. Hopefully, the second time's a winner. ;) Here's hoping!

 Their quality far exceeds their budget pricing, and they are well-trusted and reliable. This is why I'm so very confused about the two Kansbols that I received. I couldn't believe that Mora would have passed QC on a blade like this (though, nobody is perfect), so I figured it had been used and returned, then sent to me

I don't enjoy sharpening out chips that I didn't cause, so I exchanged it for another Kansbol. This one at least seemed better on visual inspection

I'm kind of shocked...

 This knife isn't pretty nor is it something you're going to brag about. But it's a work-horse that I can have at ready-access anytime I need it. And for that, it's going to be my companion for the next year of trips.

My New Companion is a Kansbol

 No need for this knife to chop and baton. Although it could split/baton small 2-3" wood easily. We will see how the edge retention is with time and how easy it is to resharpen the compound Scandi/Flat ground edge. For the price this is fantastic quality and value!!!
