The Mountain Buggy Nano Duo is a sleek and stylish, side-by-side umbrella stroller. This stroller is one of the smallest when folded, which helps it fit in spaces where other doubles can't go, and this is where the Nano truly outshines most of the competition. Also, this stroller is relatively light and has a nice size storage bin and adjustable leg rests for passenger comfort.

 So I like to, this is a great option to keep it with you, you just take it on the plane you put it in the overhead bin and you are good to go. So let's go ahead and fold it. Okay to fold the Nano it does require two hands but it's easy to do. There are two buttons on the inside that can't be right for you to push them and the handle bar will fold down like that, you squish it in, grab the handle right here and it folds down

 Easy for mom, but almost impossible for the toddler to do and that's because it's a two step process. With one hand you have to push with your thumb those two red buttons, then squeeze, something the toddlers just can't master and I love that because it keeps them in the seat. Now there is an adjustable calf leg rest here that you can have up when it's a smaller baby or you squeeze right in front here and it goes down to the comfort of your child. There's also a little step right here that your child can set their feet

 You could carry it like this as well, kind of like a briefcase I suppose and like I said there is a travel bag and it has a standing fold too. So here is your travel bag and the travel bag was great you just put it over, the wheels actually stick out of the travel bag. Now as you can see the Mount Buggy Nano is a great travel stroller not only do you have a large seat but the compact fold is so small that you can put it in the overhead bin of most airplanes and I love that.  What I do is I detach all the wheels and put it underneath the bag. This bag, by the way, is customized. I had to attach an extra fabric so I will be able to launch it around with and put it on top of the luggage bag. So it's easier for me and I have extra pockets as well

 And I was talking about the footrest, this is very very handy because some child wants their legs up like mine. So for you to be able to adjust the footrest, there's two clips here hidden underneath the fabric, you just have to press it, push it down or wherever, whichever way you want it. So that's the footrest. And my team Buggy Niner doesn't stop, they're really thought of the little guys who will be using this stroller

 So if I can find the wheels. Okay, here they are. So I have to just put them first, pop it in. It's a very easy installation of the wheels

 So here it is. Over here, okay let me recline this a little bit so you can see. Over here, there you'll see it, there is a button there that you need to press. So you have to press it both hands and crunch it together

The stroller though seems like a sturdy one

 The Nano clocks in at 5.9 kilos, and folds down to 51 by 30 by 46 centimeters, though these dimensions are with the wheels removed, and thus are the smallest that one can make the stroller. I usually don't give the folded dimensions with the wheels removed, but it's important in this case, as it's the only way to get the Nano small enough to fit as carry-on luggage on some, though definitely not all, airlines. With relation to weight capacity, the Nano takes up to 20 kilos in the seat, and 5 kilos in the underslung shopping basket

 It's not particularly bad. If this were a larger stroller that would actually aid in snow being able to snow or sand or like that sort of terrain being able to fall out one side but of course you're not going to take this on any snow or any sort of terrain so you kind of lose that effect. The one thing though is that over time I would say that with weight you're going to wind up sort of asymmetrically affecting the ball bearings inside this wheel because the weight is going to push down like this right and so that ball bearing is going to lift up a bit and it's going to put extra pressure on one side like the lower side there, the higher side here which could wind up leading to those wheels loosening a little bit faster than they might on a regular sort of a fork where you have two walls but I don't anticipate that being like a major problem only time will tell you know whether that will actually be a problem. The wheels don't have any sort of wobble protection inside that could be a more serious problem

 Today we're going to be looking at the Nano V2, an ultracompact from Mountain Buggy. This is actually the first Mountain Buggy stroller that we've looked at in a long time on this channel. My general attitude towards Mountain Buggy design is, unfortunately, that has been in decline for several years at this point. Early Mountain Buggy models were amazing for their rugged simplicity, really unparalleled by other makers of three-wheeled terrain models around ten years ago or so

They are removable and you'll see that on the axle itself there is really only the one point at which the wheel axle is going to be held up inside the housing.  Hey everyone, Scout Julie here reviewing one of the most versatile strollers on the market, the Mountain Buggy Nano. If you find yourself in need of a really great one-handed stroll, super compact, airplane friendly, what, souped up umbrella stroller, then you'll want to listen up because you'll want to get to know the Nano. I live in a city where climbing up and down subway stairs is part of everyday life and let me tell you, this stroller makes carrying a toddler in one arm and a stroller in the other actually manageable. The fold, however, is not so manageable with a toddler and it's the one major thing I wish were different about this stroller

 More on that later. Let me kick this off with the perks of this stroller. It's really lightweight. At only 13 pounds, the Nano makes traveling with your stroller a lot easier

 I leave it extended since it isn't very large anyway.  For me this is acting like an umbrella travel stroller (aside from my bob jogging stroller), for air travel and stowing in the car trunk for quick shopping trips /mall/ crowded museums. I previously had returned the Qbit (flimsy seat, limited recline) and the Zoe xl1 (lower quality, poor recline, missing compact fold). If the nano didn't exist I would have purchased a summer infant 3D zyre or 3D lite or Chicco liteway for a lower price point

 Even on small planes, we were able to fit it under the seat in front of us. On large plans it fits in the overhead.  Now with two small children (10m and 3yrs), our general go-to is our UppaBaby Double Stroller. But during our last trip to Florence, with their narrow sidewalks and small cobble stone streets, we decided to buy a second Mountain Buggy

 My wife is 5'6" also comfortable for her) and neither of us regularly are kicking the back of the stroller.  Cons: No cup holder or basket near handle bars. Cannot fold one handed - have to put child down to fold and unfold.

  Now with two small children (10m and 3yrs), our general go-to is our UppaBaby Double Stroller. Great for European City Travel

 We are looking for a lightweight stroller to bring on vacation with us as well as something that is light and easy to throw in and out of the car that doesn't take a ton of trunk space. I have to say this is another one that is going back.  None of the strollers in the lightweight/travel (but non-"umbrella") category are perfect. They either push/maneuver like carp, the basket is too small, the seat itself is too small, the handlebar is uncomfortable to grip, the canopy is lacking, it doesn't fold small enough, carry easy enough, etc etc etc

  The babyjogger city tour, despite having a smallish basket, lacks a foot rest and infant car seat capacity, wins in all other categories. It's allllllmost like a nice full size stroller in terms of the push/maneuverability. The handlebar is lovely and comfortable to hold (and cleanable!). It's super easy to fold and carry

 On the other hand, the canopy doesn't cover much, the handlebar is very skinny and covered in that awful foam, and the push/maneuverability really isn't great. The plastic wheels have no ridges for traction, and I find this is common among the less maneuverable/harder to push models. I'm going on vacation and I plan to tourist for like 10 hours a day. I need something that will not contribute to the built in travel fatigue
