I know this benefits me financially at the expense of Neato's profits, so hint to Neato: Sell me disposable pre-cut paper pre-filters for a reasonable price so I don't have to trim a paper towel each time. :)  EDIT 03-24-2016: So it's been a few days since The Incident

Dudley Do-Bot does it well - Mostly of the time.

 There has to be a better design they can come up with to replace the bristles.  You'll also be vacuuming the filter after every cleaning session because the hair just gets stuck to the filter itself (see before and after pictures). I hesitate to think what the suction would be reduced to if the filter wasn't vacuumed every day. I'm also wondering if any hair is getting up inside the chassis where the main wheels attach, but I don't want to take the vacuum apart yet

 I couldn't believe just how much hair was wrapped around it! I'm not sure that our floors have any additional hair on them after the spiral brush is used, so the heavy duty brush cleaning requirement feels like wasted effort.  After you finish cleaning that, you'll be cleaning the spinning side brush. This brush worries me because I'm wondering a few things about it's design and function. Looking at the clump of twisted black bristles and hair, I'm concerned how long this side brush is going to last before needing to be replaced from all the bristles I have to pull out with the knotted hair (see picture of clump)

After several years of using a Neato, I recommend a Roomba over this

 I'm always impressed how much the vacuum actually picks up- and how adventurous that little neato is to get into all of those strange places (under the kitchen cabinets, the beds, the bar cart, etc.) Overall- when it doesn't get caught on something- it is pretty awesome. The price makes me feel a tinge of regret- but I think that is the only reason I am being so difficult about it. Over all it is Jetsons - not completely Rosie Jetsons- but nevertheless Jetsons, and I love it when it works properly
