The lightwood frame suspension transfers the load from harness to hip belt. A mesh back panel improves ventilation and the mesh on the harness and hip belt reduces chafing under load. The entire suspension stows away under a zippered panel creating a sleek silhouette for transport. Unzip the lockable sliders to access the main compartment.  There'S no real pockets on the outside, because you're going to get that with the day pack, but you do have a lot of organization and a lot of access with the main pack. Here we do have lockable zippers on the outside, so those zippers can be used with tsa approved travel locks, and it's going to allow you to get into the main pack body. I do just have a bag in there now or stuffing it out, packing it out purposes, but I will check that out. Really large capacity pack really easy to access all the contents, and I'm going to kind of take this bag away to show under what we've got going on on the inside of the pack, we've got a lot of internal capacity

 This flap down at the bottom will roll up really easily and it tucks right under the hip belt, and there are two velcro tabs there. That'S going to help, keep it out of sight and out of when you're done, using that harness and suspension system, you need to throw it on the plane, the bus or the train. You can just tuck those components away, really easily pull that flap up and zip. It back up really easily so it gives it that streamlined look

I purchased this bag for a vacation where I thought it would be easier to carry a bag then wheel thru the snow. Well, I ended up bringing my suitcase with wheels because I couldn’t fit half of my clothes in it. I don’t think it’s made for a week of winter traveling (lots of outdoor gear) although my husband had the same bag and fit all of his clothes. Guess it may have been the fault of the packer not fitting the clothes

 These both adjusts with the cross buckle to give you support on your chest. It's really easy to put the backpack back on to the main bag you attach it, zipper goes all the way around and then you take these two straps. They go right in that little hole. so as you can see, incredibly versatile

 so what you can do with that is frontside. You've got a carry handle like a luggage handle and then you also have a side handle and this can be used as a duffel. so multiple ways for you to garrote towards whatever specific needs you have, but staying comfortable no matter what you do. All right

. I have the Farpoint 55 and this pack isn't much bigger internally. It has some pockets that you can add stuff as well as that separation flap at the bottom of the pack but in the end that aspect was more of a hindrance than asset.

I'Ve just got a bag in here to show for size, but you can see that it is a very large easy to access internal pocket. We do have two compression straps on the inside to help cinch down here. If you need to so, you can really lock it in allows you to kind of compress some clothing, so you can add even more items but really convenient the large internal capacity on the front face

 So it's really easy to store a sleeping bag. If you need to like I've, got here or any other gear that you want to keep separate, and there is a divider in there - that's just held together by some webbing, and you can easily drop that out to have one large capacity internal pack bag. If you wanted to, but conveniently the option is there to have a separated sleeping bag compartment for main access to the pack, we do have, as I mentioned, that large panel loading zipper.  In case you wanted to separate gear, so the main access point is a large panel loading zipper. It'S going to allow you to access the majority of the contents of the pack I'll show that in a second, but this pack does have a bottom compartment as well. So like a standard, backpacking pack would have a sleeping bag compartment. This bag also has that bottom compartment

 So you can really dial in that fit up top really convenient a very comfortable suspension system on the pack to keep this flap out of your way while wearing the pack. It does roll up really conveniently into the base. So if you just roll that up, there is kind of a pocket on the bottom side and there are two velcro pieces. You can just tuck those away kind of push it together and it'll sit there nicely

There is no way to adjust the shoulder straps to the right height (even with tightening straps), they are not movable! and the top of the pack is over my head when on my back - and the hip belt is nowhere near my hips - it is lined up with the crotch area! Omg seriously if you are a man who is 6 foot tall or taller this pack may work for you otherwise this is definitely not going to work

I also did not like how old the bottom pocket has a weird divider which you cannot remove (at the top of the bottom pocket) which is a separation from the main large pack - it is just a very strange design which I did not care for. This is overall not suitable for anybody under 6 feet tall

 Instead of sitting across the middle of your chest, it rides up to your collarbone. Overall a very good pack, just has a few flaws to keep it from being perfect.  Writing this after my 2 week trip backpacking. I'd still give it 4/5 stars but wanted to explain how it performed

 Attach points for the daylite day pack are also a nice feature. My only real knock on with the pack is the lack of lumbar support and the chest strap. The pack doesn't contour to your spine well, which can get kinda uncomfortable after a while. The chest strap is adjustable but it still sits too high on your chest

  Writing this after my 2 week trip backpacking. I'd still give it 4/5 stars but wanted to explain how it performed. The only negative thing about this back after using it for 2 weeks is that the backpack strap broke on day 1 at the airport. Other than that, this pack worked wonderfully
