 Pretty good. like a backpacking backpack system. So if you're doing a lot of a heavy heavy hiking, this bag is pretty good for that. And as far as you know what it fits, well, you can pack quite a bit in there

 The system for the straps is pretty nice. Waist belt as well at all everything Stowe's a well, Stow's away fairly nicely. You can see they use good Clips here. All around, everything pretty nice

 On the bottom, it's got, you know, another grab handle. The part with the backpack strap. It's actually pretty thickly padded. There isn't any clip system for like a shoulder strap, so you're not going to be lugging it on your show, but I've got that padded in case you're just carrying it, you know, so it's not banging up the clips on you

All right, taking a look at: Osprey Porter 65 Basically a travel backpack convertible 65 litres. So it's not carry-on size, but if you know on most flights, you can probably get it through and check it in the overhead, but it's definitely longer than 22 inches so it's if they had you check it in their little checker thing, it's not gonna fit. This type of bag really is set up more for, you know, trekking because the backpack system is actually pretty good. So compared to some of the other convertible bags, this one, you know you can backpack with it and put a lot of miles in with heavy load

 One might not notice, but having purchased two of these previously since 2017, I noticed. It's always a disappointment when a manufacturer downgrades quality on a beloved product (& continues to charge the same price).  Another part of the new design that I don't like is the laptop compartment. It takes up valuable space

Great bag but new design updates are a disappointment

This is the Osprey Porter 46, it's the largest Porter pack that still remains carry-on compliant for domestic travel. It'S perfect for travellers who plan to go pretty lightweight and minimal during those weekend, business, trips or impromptu adventures. One of the things I like about the Porter is how flexible and malleable it is. The sidewalls are padded but they're not heavily framed

 There is a big lockable zipper compartment where you can store a laptop up to 15 inches. This is a really great way to keep your computer in an easily accessible area, while also maintaining its security. It also doubles as a framing aspect. If you have a computer in there, the large main u-shaped zipper is also lockable, and I really like the fact that this pack design almost keeps the zipper hidden

 There are reinforced loops where you can attach a daylight pack. If you have one - and there are also D rings - to attach a shoulder, strap which can be sold separately. The handles on the outside are also reinforced and padded, so you can quickly pick up and head out if you don't have time to deploy the shoulder straps. So, if you're looking for an easy-to-use and super organized pack check this one out, the largest carry-on compatible Porter for domestic flights, it's the Osprey Porter 46, thanks for watching

Unpractical Dimension and uncomfortable

 You're not waiting on a porter to bring it up so you can get in the Disney Cruise pool or in Japan halfway around the world wondering where all of your luggage is. We love them. They're great.  This means we all got our very own carry-on sized travel backpack and a day pack for almost a month in Japan. This meant we didn't have to wait on baggage claim to get our luggage, we were very mobile, we could take our luggage with us on the trains or subways in Japan, and best of all, we didn't have to worry about being halfway around the world without our luggage because a train or a plane lost it somewhere along the way. Whenever that becomes safe again, I'll go through some of the features, make some general comments, and then talk about some of the pros and cons. Let's take a look

A Review: The Osprey Porter 65 Liter Travel Backpack (Black)

 Consider your needs for the correct size, but you should be very pleased with the thoughtful design, light weight, comfort of carry and concealed morphing configurations the pack offers.

 The compression harness is something I've never encountered before but is brilliant in that it acts as a girdle to cinch the pack tighter preventing sag and maintaining the center of gravity better. The 65 is pretty large so if used for just carting school supplies you might want one of the smaller designs. Consider your needs for the correct size, but you should be very pleased with the thoughtful design, light weight, comfort of carry and concealed morphing configurations the pack offers.

 The compartments are well thought out for ease and simplicity. At the lower end there's a zippered compartment best suited perhaps for shoes making it easy to shift into or out of trekking mode without disturbing any other stored contents. Same for a compartment best suited for your laptop as well as another for books. There are smaller compartments as well being useful without being overly confusing or overwhelming as too many pockets I find can make things harder to locate

The Osprey Pack design team seems to have sat down with a clean sheet and redesigned the ubiquitous back pack.

 The good thing about this company is it comes with a 10-year warranty. If anything rips on the bag. If anything gets cut, uh, zippers broken. Uh, you send them an email or you give them a phone call and they will cover it for free

 and on the back has two straps and the strap at the bottom for your waist. [Music] Tada. Pat it in the back and it has another pocket back here where you're able to put your laptop in there. It's easy access to take out

 and now it is a duffel bag now. The only thing I could complain about it is that it doesn't come with a strap, could purchase that separately. but since it didn't come with it, it's kind of a bummer. But other than that, now it has penny in the back so it's easy on the bag so let's get stressed back on again

 Katahdin at the northern end of the Appalachian Trail. (Wore a Osprey Manta 20 AG for the hike) I packed the Porter with a one person and a three person tent (poles, rain fly and footprints as well), 1100ml cook system, go pro, sunglasses, bug spray, sunscreen,headlight, flashlights, phone, backup battery, clothes for three days, trail shoes, three lbs of food, rain jacket, wind breaker, toiletries, 10 total AA and AAA batteries. Inside it could still fit more too!! Outside I strapped a small collapsible table under the compression straps. My pack was REALLY heavy but once on, it carried very well and comfortable for 1/8 mile I wore it
