So when i get done cutting this up, if i don't eat it all just put the rest in salad, but anyway, let's see how dull this thing is like i said i haven't sharpened it in a while on purpose, usually every time i pick this up, i Give it a couple scrapes across my uh crop, stick and yeah, that's um, that's pretty dull! I can feel it it doesn't. You know it's it's ripping there and it's kind of it's kind of squeezing down. That'S why they say it's a dull knife

Take it slow and easy or it will be uneven.

 In comparison to my manual sharpener, this electric sharpener is awesome. I'm sure there are better (and more expensive) sharpeners out there, but this one is great for my needs. I sharpened about 30 knives in about 20 minutes, and they've never been more sharp! I agree with other reviews that this sharpener lacks power, but as long as you align the blade correctly in the slot, this won't be an issue. It may, however, be an issue as to how long it holds up

 Well worth the price and the convenience. One caveat is I would not recommend using them on expensive knives. Mine is a mid-priced set + a few misc knives I'd accumulated over the years so I was comfortable using them on an unknown device. I probably would not use them on a $400 set
