Pro-Ject T1

While I just spent the last several minutes telling you how balanced it is, and that's completely true, it suffered from a bit of inner groove distort...

So while the T1 did not surprise us with a revolutionary bass for its price category, it was full and musical just as Project described.

But that doesn't take us away from all of the other qualities that vinyl playback offers us. So this is a pretty damn solid choice.

Overall, the Pro-Ject T1 BTXW is a great turntable that will make the most out of your vinyl collection.

Yes, I know that I probably could have got something technically superior for the money I paid for the turntable, but I've just cracked a favourite album of mine on, and I'm genuinely astonished at the difference in sound quality compared to my old Pro-ject T1.
