I am using it for coding with the vi/vim editor so the keyboard compact layout is very useful to me. I can easily hit the most common special keys and there is no wasted space with useless (for my use case) keys.

This is my second attempt on mechanical keyboards and so far I really like this one

 - Comfortable. - Really compact without affecting usability. You could easily carry it in a backpack. - Removable USB cable

  I am dropping one star because the switches are producing a resonating acute sound. It is not a deal breaker but I can hear it every time a hit a key.  For the price the build quality is very good. The design is clean and it matches any modern office environment

 I've got some audible differences between those three keys, but they all feel nice and sturdy.  My only real issue is that I feel like the brown switches are a slight bit too loud. I was hoping for a slightly more silent key press, but that's not totally a bad thing as it's a mechanical keyboard and the "clack" is one of my favorite things.  For the price, the build quality is really great for this keyboard

 The controller's board is hard to miss, since the main board is covered in a red solder mask while the controller board is green. Looking at the solder joints, I noticed a solder bridge connecting two of the pins; 30 seconds of work with a needle-tip soldering iron and the keyboard works perfectly. I'm giving 3 stars because it was an easy fix, even if I shouldn't have had to do it in the first place; at this price, this keyboard is a terrific deal with good-quality components. Well worth playing the odds!

I really loved this keyboard. The keys are responsive and that it look so dang amazing. It also comes with a key cap remover which is always a plus. The noise from the keys is not too loud nor too quiet and does feel refreshing when typing
