The claim to fame for the Radenso XP is its ability to offer an extremely quiet ride, even in urban settings, which are ripe with false threats. Its features are highly adjustable and cater to quieting false alerts. It also offers some of the best BSM filtering we've seen. The XP sports features like Mute, Smart Dark, and Low-Speed Muting, which all turn off audible alerts for low-priority signals. Smart Dark is unique to the XP and keeps the whole device dark, except for a small power indicator, when no threats are present. This is great for parents with sleeping children or for those who are overstimulated by lights and sounds. 
The Radenso XP is a lower-range detector when compared to the highest performers in our test suite, but that is not necessarily a con if you plan to drive in a more urban setting. The auto-lockouts also leave much to be desired, but you can manually lock out stationary threats if necessary. The XP is a great option for anyone who values a quiet ride and doesn't want to spend an arm and a leg.

 This guy is really good and the XP seems to be on par or even better in some situations, so really good job by Redenso. The V1 also has a really good BSM filter, but this one you have to enable TMF and there is going to be a performance penalty when you enable it as opposed to these other detectors that we've talked about which have a little bit more modern BSM filter. This guy though, that said, it is still pretty good. You've got the Redenso XP, or sorry, the Redenso Pro SE, also a Redenso detector

 So anyways, the more I drive with it, the more impressed I am with it. It's again, not a perfect detector, it's still got some improvements that are being made, but the more I drive with it, the better it's seeming to be. So anyways, that's kind of my current pick for just the general around town, city, urban driving and having a radar detector is going to be the Odenso XP. So anyways, just wanted to share this with you guys

Radenso XP Review: An Awesome Urban Radar Detector

I've had this for about 2 years now, and overall I think that the detection is better than any other brand in terms of false positives. I've owned a few other detectors that constantly trip from vehicle monitoring systems when passing, but the Radenso filters out all of these false positives wonderfully.  What keeps this from earning 5 stars is the mounting bracket. The mounting bracket is by far the worst that I've used

 I feel like there may need to be some tweaks to the verification software for it.. not that it will ever truely be perfect) but also a few driveway gates out in the middle of nowhere will set this off.
