I was considering first but great little find port and the hip strap, which is not removable. Rapha’s New Bags Make Any Bike Adventure a Joy

 Obvious answer is to not pack it too full but the bag is not that large, so include a computer and the kinds of things you might take on a commute and it is not as weather proof as one would expect. Making the bag longer to accommodate an extra roll would solve this problem. Second up, the outer zip pocket is really quite small and the zip is not a weather proof one. Double the size of the pocket and put on a weather proof zip for the next iteration

Roll Top Bag issue

I bought this to replace my other trusted 25 litre ruck sac that I use for my 18 mile round commute to work.  I’ve been impressed with it so far (after 3 weeks).    I’ve had  to change my packing routine a little bit as there are fewer quick access pockets with the roll top bag (only 1 small one, for keys, work pass, 2 x phones) but that’s been easy enough.  The design is good and there’s enough room inside for my gear and the pink inner base makes it easy to find things

All in all I’m happy with it and would definitely recommend it for commuting.  I’d suggest rapha compliment it with a waterproof rain cover, as this would prolong its life a little.
