 It also comes with twice the memory and our sample. Our sample costs a whopping four thousand dollars and it comes with the core I9 12 900h with slightly higher clock speeds and a 4k 144hz display. That's a lot of money. It's a lot of money, people, but you know what I find really interesting Last year: you're able to pick up the base model with an Rtx 3070 for the same price as this year's base model with an Rtx 3060

 Also, battery life takes a bit of a hit this year as well, and I really hope that it can be addressed through a driver update. Honestly, I would recommend the version with the core I7 12800h and an Rtx 3070 Ti since it would perform the same given the wattage limitations and it will cost you a whole lot less. So on that note, Thank you so much for watching! I hope you're able to take away everything that you needed to know about the new Razer Blade 15 Advanced model. It's a lot of money, people, but you know what I find really interesting Last year: you're able to pick up the base model with an Rtx 3070 for the same price as this year's base model with an Rtx 3060.. What the hell raiser? I mean the spec out model from 2021 went for 3 300 compared to 4 000 this year

RTX 3080 Ti Insanity - Razer Blade 15 (2022) Review

 But as of now I could not justify their ultra expensive release prices for their products if they are not even going to outlast the manufacturers warranty.  Update 1: Razer will sell their products to Puerto Rico customers. Even on their webise they will ship them to Puerto Rico. Even Best Buy stores in the island sell Razer products

 Most importantly it runs most games out there at 1920 x 1080 resolution on ultra high settings with no noticeable FPS drops. Yes it does get hot when running games at those settings but if you play it in an A/C cooled room, connected to a TV via HDMI, it doesnt get as hot. And its How I always used the laptop  That is also why my review is a 2 Star rating. In less than one year the HDMI port on my laptop stopped working

 Havent heard from them since before yesterday.  I will update the review as the story develops. It works wonderfully, until it doesnt. And you have to file a warranty claim

 So basically you can see how well it actually does in games at all three different screen resolutions you can buy it with. Definitely Check that one out to find out if the Blade 15 can actually run games at 4K!

 The laptop alone weighs 2.1kg or 4.6lb, and goes up to just under 3kg or 6.5lb with the 230 watt power brick and cables for charging included

 It’s No wonder that Razer only sells the Blade 15 with a 4K screen with RTX 3080 Ti graphics, So yeah, if you are looking at the 1080p or 1440p configuration, you don’t have to spend as much on the GPU because you just don’t need as much power to run that. Again If you do want to see the 4K game benchmarks for this laptop, then refer to the link in the description. Otherwise The battery life wasn’t particularly amazing, and the slow write speed on the SSD was concerning. Although The machine feels solid and looks great, as I noted in the Blade 17 review, Definitely expect some silver dings in the black finish over time as aluminum is just a softer metal

In the past, when the 13" macbooks were powered by i5s with intel integrated graphics, there was a pretty solid reason for even normal users to want to bump up to things like the 15/16" pro models. You could reasonably overpower the 13" specs and need that extra power/speed/memory/gpu

But now the M1 13" is so damn good that I don't think I'd have a real reason to bump from it up to a 14" or 16" pro. Its "enough" for even what I would throw at it as someone who would call themselves a power user.

I don’t see myself needing to run 4 external displays, and I’m really only using this for data analysis (granted, large databases, but yeah) as well as some minor content creation.

Yeah I cannot justify laying out 2k for the 14”. I mean I’m not surprised with the chip shortages and this still being Apple but I’m gonna hold off my upgrade until it’s on sale at other retailers at closer to the 1800 mark I was optimistically expecting.

Unpopular opinions time:

I quite like the look of the notch, doing a like for like configuration against a Surface shows the pricing is pretty similar, these are Pro devices so more ports and a bit of thickness is fine, I’ll miss the Touch Bar (seriously, I loved it for presentations), and these laptops really aren’t for the vast majority of people, the 2020 MBA and MBP are there for that (in fact just a bog standard iPad Air with a Smart Keyboard is actually more computing device than most people need). The Pro and Max chips were nice, and the price isn’t that expensive when you consider that the sort of person who will used a maxed out one is probably buying it as a business item and it will return the investment over time in hours saved etc.

The 3rd Gen Airpods look nice, but I can’t figure out from the website (might be looking in the wrong place) if their wireless charging is MagSafe only or is also Qi like the previous charging case version.

The Apple Music Voice sub looks pants, many of those playlists (or similar) are already available on AM, not sure it needed a whole Zane Lowe section to tell us that Siri can play music for different moods… The name is also confusing - presumably it’s for having Apple Music on a HomePod or Watch without an attached device with a screen, like an iPhone? Why not just call it Apple Music Essentials or something? The Siri angle is really confusing.

HomePod Mini was disappointing - where’s my Product(Red) version, Tim? Also I’ve gone off the Mini - the sound is great but it’s literally the only device out of dozens of wifi enabled devices in my house that doesn’t work fully on the Asus Zen Mesh system, and it’s annoying me no end. Homekit works through it, but it cannot access Apple Music at all and it can’t update itself. It’s been raised with you multiple times, Apple; fix your device *before* offering it in a different colour. An orange device that doesn’t work properly is the same as my white device that doesn’t work properly - somehow inferior to a 3rd gen echo dot alarm clock (which can also play Apple Music…).

As someone who can buy a lot of things for myself without thinking that I didn't used to be able to, it takes something like this macbook pro launch to remind me that there are limits!

I know this will be buried or downvoted and I may be the only person in the world…. But I will really miss Touch Bar I genuinely love using it and love my MacBook because of it. It’s a shame Apple really threw it in the bin and never did any upgrade or something cool with it. There were so many awesome 3rd party apps. So rip I’ll miss you Touch Bar!

The model I’d want is $3100. Per usual, memory and storage upgrades are insanely priced. I’m thinking that I might wait for the Air to get a design update, as the M1 Pro is probably overkill for me in 95% of scenarios. Glad to see the MBP become “pro” again, though.

Apple's "Unleashed" | Post-Event Megathread

Good laptop, but poor support and quality control

 but it had the power and it got the job done. and then I switched over to my very first Mac. That's right, I bought myself a 13-inch Macbook Pro. Uh, one of those models that had ports like actual ports and I loved it

2 Gen 2 and it also comes with a Wi-fi 6 module, so I guess it's still worth it in 2020. the lack of an Sd card reader is a bummer, but the 2020 models do come with one, so that's awesome. Battery life is good, but not great. I'm only getting roughly five hours of use when I'm doing some casual stuff like browsing the web or writing out a script, and if I switch over to something more heavy, I can only squeeze about an hour worth of use, which is respectable, but it's not the greatest compared to, you know, some of the Amd offerings that are available in the market

 Razer If you're watching this video, I would like you guys to improve on a few things with your blade: 15 notebooks. First and foremost, if you can implement a brighter screen with higher refresh rate and better color accuracy, that would be awesome. A bigger battery would be highly appreciated because if you look at the competition, Msi is coming out with 99.9 watt batteries on their slim chassis, so I'm sure you can come up with something that can compete with those standards

If you can also improve the speakers, that'll be great. They're good, but I mean maybe perhaps add a woofer at the bottom to enrich the bass response and I think that would be a solid sort of experience
