 The way we achieved that is with this overall shape. So the first thing we want to talk about is the 20 millimeters of taper. So that means that the tail of the snowboard is going to be about 20 millimeters narrower than the nose. What that's going to do is allow the snowboard to be, a wider snowboard, you're going to be able to control it a little bit quicker

 So they've been working on this shape for probably four or five years now, gone through hundreds of different prototypes, and we're happy to bring it to market this year. A couple things we want to talk about this is just, I guess, the overall shape. So the shape of this snowboard definitely kind of have that shorter, wider platform. Jake really liked some aspects of the Warpig, but if you ever watch Jake's snowboard, Jake likes a really smooth, clean line

 Again, it's all about control and performance with that high camber. It's going to snap in and out of turns, and you're going to be able to ride it all over the mountain. Graphics on this, we just wanted something very clean, very crisp, and kind of surf inspired. One of the key things you want to take away from this snowboard is this is not going to ride, this is not your average powder fish

 So the shape of this snowboard definitely kind of have that shorter, wider platform. Jake really liked some aspects of the Warpig, but if you ever watch Jake's snowboard, Jake likes a really smooth, clean line. The Warpig tends to be more hockey-stop style turns and really slashy style turns. He liked the wide platform and the float and the overall feel of the Warpig, but he wanted something that had kind of the longer, drawn-out, archier turns, maybe more like his Berserker

 If you are a really aggressive rider that likes to lay carves, you would enjoy this board because it does feel stable and it does lay on edge. Shape of this board, the tail was really, really sharp. I could really feel that tail digging into the mountain. I wouldn't say it's a very playful board, but where I really love this board is when I was carving, especially on groomers, really laid a deep edge

2023 Ride Peace Seeker Snowboard Review | Curated

 Shaping on this guy really was prominent in the deeper snow. You really notice that kind of pointed nose, really is fast in the powder. And also with that taper, tons of float, even on the low angle stuff. If you've ridden the Ride Super Pig before, this is kind of like a more powder-oriented version of that board

 A little bit more taper, kind of more of a pointy nose. It just definitely still rails turns, or if you're like slashing through a pow turn, it's got a nice stiff tail in it, so it doesn't feel like it washes out on you or kind of gets all smeary in the turn. It's going to favor the stronger rider. So if you're a more aggressive rider, you want something that can really slay powder but also rip the rimmers really fast, you'll enjoy this one

 So when I first pulled this board out, the shape right away stood out to me. It's got quite a bit of taper to it and a nice little bit of rocker in the nose. Camber between the bindings is also nice. It has good control, good pop, a little half-moon kind of going in there so it looks like it syncs the tail

This board is available in 138, 142, 147, 151, and 155. I rode this board at Copper Mountain on a sunny bluebird day with warmer temps, zero wind, there was ice, chop, chunder, perfect hero snow on the groomers, just basic early morning spring-like conditions, and I rode it with my Rome Black Label bindings and my K2 Thraxis boots. All right, so clearly this board has a fully free ride directional flex

 You have a softer nose that's accentuated by that rocker out there, and when it hits that camber zone, it just progressively gets stiffer back to the tail. The torsional flex is there. It's not overly abundant. Would I say this board is overly stiff? No, I'd say it's the right blend for what it actually is
