 It just seems more solid when you're firing it and of course with the 10 to 12 rounds you've got a fairly decent capacity and still a really small firearm. I love that they've dovetailed the sights which gives you options. It's one of the things about the originals that the sights were fixed and there was no changing. And I think the geometry in the internals also has been improved just to give you better reliability

 And again we had that flat base plate very slick finish mag and then the gun is empty. Now with this firearm one of the big advantages to me over the standard LCP is is the last round bolt hold open. So once I fire it it's gonna hold open and it held open every time. So that gives you a lot of confidence

 The LCP line has been around for a long time and it's been proven. And now with the LCP Max and the advances in this system this is a great option especially for 380. And again we want to thank Ruger for sending the LCP Max for this review. Guys if you depend on a firearm for self defense it's really important that you don't go it alone

 So I really do think it's a good concealed carry option. Once again, six plus one, if you're carrying it with one in the chamber, the capacity is not bad at all. So i know it's not the weapon, it's the shooter and it's how you place your shot in a defensive situation.But on calibre to calibre is 9MM really that superior to a .380 as far as stopping power is concerned?I have 3 9MM guns as of now. (Glock 19,Ruger security 9 and a Taurus G2C).they are great guns but a little too snappy for me. I am currently looking at a Ruger lcp ll as a conceal carry and a shooting range weapon.Am i going to compromise any power if i get the ruger?

I’m looking to get my First concealed carry Firearm. I had my heart set on a Glock 43 but the price point is a bit out of my current budget. I was At my local farm store today and they were having a sale on a Taurus G3. It was priced at $249. Quite an attractive price if I do say so myself!! I looked at it and liked it quite well. Before I decide to buy it I wanted to do some research and make sure it is a good fit for what I want to use it for! Do any of you conceal carry a Taurus G3? TIA

Is the Taurus G3 a good option for concealed carry?

 There's no rounds in there, there's no brass, there's nothing in there. The reason I want to be doubly sure, as you always are anyway, is I'm going to put my finger, thumb, in front of the slide here, take some of the pressure off, get this little pin out, and then the slide comes off, so it's a lot like a miniature Glock. Most guns have kind of copied that design, these polymer wonders over the last couple decades, though not much to it, and that would just blow away in the wind like a potato chip. It's very small, little barrel, nothing to it,

 Let me take it apart real quick here while I'm kind of telling you about it. Now I'm going to double, triple check because I'm going to take it apart. However, now that I'm in a stable job and won't be crossing state lines every 3 months, it's well past time to get one. I know I want a 22 lr revolver (the largest caliber allowed for hunting where I live). My question is, should I get a larger caliber, such as a 9mm or a 45acp, for an edc or should I just purchase a 22 revolver designed for concealed carry and only have the one gun? I already have home defense covered, I'm looking for a walking around gun right now. Comments, advice, and suggestions are welcome, I know how to shoot a handgun but picking out the one I want is a whole different story.

New pocket pistol. Surprisingly nice lil thing

 New to owning guns and am looking for the cheapest but still reliable handgun I can carry for self defense. I've only shot 9mm so preferably that or similar calibers. I prefer revolvers but it seems most of them that aren't .22 are a little pricer than semi-autos so I'm willing to get one instead if the price is much better. 

 I'm aware of things like the hi-point pistols that are around $150-180 but I've heard a lot of mixed things about them and I'm not sure how much of that is just gun "snobbery". But I'm in a tight budget and every dollar I spend on the gun is less ammo I can get for it to practice. So IDC if everyone at the will laugh at me as long as I can count on it to go boom when I pull the trigger.
