The Skosh Rhythm Plus has been a fantastic heart rate monitor for me, but now we have the Rhythm Plus Two. How's the stack up? So the reason you get a heart rate monitor like this is so that you can connect to just about any device you want and have your heart rate information sent over to that device. And Skosh prides themselves on having the Rhythm work with just about anything. But does it really tonal? Check? Fit your mirror? Yep

 It just feels comfortable while you have some kind of strap tightly around your wrist, so that's a nice little improvement. It has better battery life which is great, but I will say the first one I barely ever had to charge that thing. It seemed to last forever, but more is always better. and it's Ip68 water and dust proof so you're gonna be able to put it through those situations and have it handle it just fine

 I'm rail thin and could not get a reading at all when attaching to my forearm but have had success when attached around my upper arm. The heart rate monitoring seems accurate enough, though I've never directly compared it to a chest strap running at the same time. All the information I'm seeing is in line with what I used to get from a chest strap and thus I am happy with the data it provides. A few beats of inaccuracy is acceptable

I love the idea of a chest-strap free heart rate monitor and this seems to be a popular one, so I purchased it to replace an old Garmin chest strap. I had no trouble connecting it to a Suunto Ambit3 Peak watch. I'm rail thin and could not get a reading at all when attaching to my forearm but have had success when attached around my upper arm. I cleaned them as per the tech support instructions and attempted to charge the unit again, but still believe it not to be charging properly

 But now let's get to the hardest activity for an optical heart rate sensor, and that's going to be weight training. So what we can see is that the 2.0 did pretty darn well, although not perfect. It was a little off at the beginning of the workout, but was pretty in line for these sets of bench presses

 So the Rhythm 24 It does have stuff like on-board memory you can see your heart rate zones via some Leds, and it also has heart rate variability. but some people simply just need a good, accurate, reliable heart rate sensor with some long battery life. and that's what the Rhythm Plus 2.0 is all about

 There were a few little wobbles at the beginning, but for the rest of the session, this was spot on. So for running, first off, ignore this little portion right here at the beginning, which is where I accidentally paused the chorus Apex Pro, which I was using with a chest heart rate strap. But for the rest of the run, things were pretty good. There was a small spike right around halfway through where it was about seven beats per minute high, but that was momentary and overall, this was pretty much what I like to see

 No luck. Their warranty is 12m. I haven't found a better product but the life sucks and probably explains the length of the warranty. Am about to look for an alternative to this as I think they should last longer for something doing what this does for better part of a c-note

  The bands are comfortable. I do not use the wrist band, as it produces very unreliable readings. The longer band for the forearm works exactly as it should. The band is comfortable

Good Value and Nice Partner for Galaxy S5 and RunKeeper Application

  Would you like to connect this to someone else's app and let it be a dumb heart rate monitor? That's-a-bingo! Spitting out raw, accurate heart rate measurements is exactly what it does, and it does that very well.  On a side note, I found it really creepy how many "Scosche Partners" wrote reviews on their Insta-fluencer sites and for some reason called out "proving you worked out to your insurance company" as an important feature. That's just a sick, twisted dystopia that Scosche's marketing department is trying to create.

This product should only be expected to do what it says, and that's measure your heart rate for another app or device to consume.  Would you like to use the Scosche app? I strongly discourage it. Perhaps the 1* rating on Google Play or the 2* rating on iTunes can convince you of that as well. It's almost as if they farmed out a bare bones list of requirements to an offshore development sweatbox, but then just called it done with the first lumpy ball of code that was thrown back at them
