Sealy Posturepedic

My current mattress is trashed (big divot in the middle) and it is causing me back pain periodically. It’s a Sealy Posturepedic Sapphire LE “plush euro” pillow top. I’ve had the mattress and box springs for over almost 10 years, always on the floor (no frame). I’m a hot sleeper.

"You're probably wise to avoid the Hyatt Grand Bed which is not much different from a "normal" Sealy Posturepedic. In most cases ... hotel bed purchases are disappointing and like all major brands they contain a lot of polyfoam which is subject to early softening and breakdown.

Current mattress is a Sealy Posturepedic, it's around 8 years old and has done very well. It doesn't have a pillow top, and while I don't want my next mattress to be ultra plush, it would be nice to have a more decadent feeling without getting super hot or feeling like I'm sleeping on a soft pile of nothing. It would be great to hear your experience with hotel mattresses, or based on the above make a recommendation on any mattresses worth looking into. Thanks.

Our current mattress is a Sealy Posturepedic Lakehurst that's about 8 years old and bowing significantly in the middle. We both liked (not loved) the TempurPedic ProAdapt medium hybrid, and while we can afford it, I just don't think I can justify the price tag. We didn't really like any all foam mattress so I think a hybrid is the way to go. There are no stores locally I can find that sell latex mattresses, so we can't really try any of those.

Just too much pushback. I have slept a couple times on the mattress I was used to growing up, when at my parents. It’s a Sealy Posturepedic Corbel Plush, and was manufactured way back in 2000. It appears to have a thin layer of poly foam above a traditional innerspring system.
