It'S pet hair pickup is second to none as well, which brings us to the brand new 0m technology so 0m, which I assume stands for. Zero maintenance is a completely redesigned brush roll, which uses little protrusions on the top of the nozzle to actively remove pet hair

 It'S also very precise. The software is amazing for the finest dust up to the largest debris on hard floors. I have a Shark Navigator lift away that is still in great shape and I love, I am looking for something that works well for quick in between cleans. I am looking for something for some quick in-between cleaning on hardwoods and low-pile carpet. I have been looking at reviews for weeks and Dyson seems the be the only consistent name on reviews, but I am not a fan of Dyson. I have been seeing Tineco and Dreame but I am not familiar with the brands. I have been looking at the Shark Rocket Pet Pro and the Shark Vertex Cordless because I love Shark but the reviews are mixed. Please help!

Recommendations for a cordless stick vacuum for pet hair

This is the second Shark Apex I've bought (the first was the green version, without the Zero-M) and now I'm having the exact same issue as I had with the first. It is super easy to put together right out of the box- and I love how heavy duty they feel (because some vacuums feel cheaply made). The issue I am having, and had with the first is that it will just stop mid-push. The whole thing acts like it was unplugged and just goes dead

 I don't know if that's whats happening here- but if I were vacuuming huge spaces or for long amounts of time I'd understand. I just had my vacuum on for 5 minutes to do my tiny hallway and couldn't even get that all the way done before it started turning off. So now I'll have to send this vacuum back to Amazon- and although I love the amazing suction it has- it isn't worth the hassle to buy another one. I am pretty disappointed because I had so many people tell me that Shark was better than Dyson

 I've had this one about two weeks, and I cannot even do the hallway of my home (not a huge space) without it turning off. I called CS for the first one and they wanted me to pay them $20 to send me a new cord - I paid over $300 for this vacuum, and didn't use it for more than a few weeks. NO WAY am I paying another $20 for them to send it out. He also mentioned that if the motor gets hot, it automatically shuts off

 So now I'll have to send this vacuum back to Amazon- and although I love the amazing suction it has- it isn't worth the hassle to buy another one. I am pretty disappointed because I had so many people tell me that Shark was better than Dyson.. =/ I guess I'll have to figure that one out for myself!

Vacuum for Dog Hair

  As others have noted, this unit is very heavy and has a high center of gravity due to the design, which is effectively a hybrid canister and upright all in one.  It fell over on first use until I realized that you MUST use the wand pulling the hose from the rear of the motor unit, or hold the canister/motor unit with your other hand.  This would not be the case if the brush roller unit was larger in width and length.  If the unit much more difficult to maneuver than the Dyson

    That versatility also carries the cost of complexity as this thing has a lot of plastic buttons on it.  Suction is strong, and the adjustable floor type feature is nice if you have an even mix of hard floors (wood, tile, and carpet) like we do.  It does seem to do a good job of cleaning.  I also like that the filters seem to really be washable (unlike the Dyson post motor filter) and that replacement filters are much lower priced than Dyson (and aftermarket ones rate well, unlike Dyson)

 Now I don't have stairs and never really relied on the use of hose attachments, above my head, often enough to make this buy a deal breaker. The impressive sucking power, easy of dumping canister, the SEALED HEPA system was big for my family and region of allergy sufferers. Watched couple YouTube videos who use this vacuum for their cleaning businesses. If it's good for Industrial use then its gonna be just fine for my casual use

 😕 If you put switch to thick carpet/area rug, it turns suction down to make tad more tolerable. Maybe 15lb lift. The other attachments don't create the same resistance, because of the vent holes, which makes using the other attachments easier to use. If you have stairs and plan on using hose attachments above your head a lot then get a Dyson, they have perfected the attachment hoses ease of use

For the Good: First, let me say I currently own top of the line vacuums from Miele Blue Moon, Riccar Pristine, and Simplicity Moxie all work like day one but they are canister vacuums.  I was looking for an upright vacuum but didn't want to spend another $800.00 or more for a vacuum.  I consider the Shark Duo Apex; I was lucky to have a friend who has one; I used it for two weeks and was surprised how well of the suction was and how much debris it catches
