 we're about average, maybe a touch above average at 92% So I think it could have done much better because of its power if the floor head wasn't designed for larger debris pick up for the exact same reason. Its performance on the crevice pickup test was just average. It took three back-and-forth passes to pick up all the debris in both crevice sizes. I Know a lot of full-size vacuum is that can't do that no matter how many passes that they make

 In other words, this new style brush from Shark can do whatever you throw at it where it didn't reach its limit in any of these tests. And it should be noted that every one of these tests is completely unrealistic unless you're using it to vacuum up a hair salon. So not only has sharks solved the problem of hair getting tangled in the brushes of vacuums, they are apparently getting better at it. Another big Pro was its pickup ability on hard floors and carpets

 I Tested it with one gram of five, seven and fourteen inch hair and it didn't get a single tangle in any of those tests. Now don't get me wrong, the other 0m brushes from Shark that I have tested like the Apex 0m could do a similar job with those amounts of hair, but for example, I would have had to back off the amount of 14-inch hair to half a gram instead of a gram. In other words, this new style brush from Shark can do whatever you throw at it where it didn't reach its limit in any of these tests. And it should be noted that every one of these tests is completely unrealistic unless you're using it to vacuum up a hair salon

 Its battery life is about average for its power output. It can get 40 minutes on a single charge, but that's without the cleaner head attached. I Tested it with the cleaner head attached and got about 25 and a half minutes, which is almost identical to the simplicity at 65 which we just reviewed and has similar specs. And if you compared it with a Shark F eighty and take into account that the rocket has a touch more airflow than the F80, the battery life to power output numbers are very similar, so it's really good, but not exceptionally so

The ULTIMATE Pet Hair SLAYER!! - Shark Rocket PET PRO Cordless Stick Vacuum

I did some research and got the Shark Navigator Pet Pro. I have 2 cats and it cleans my carpet really well I can lay on the floor right after vacuuming! I haven’t tried a squeeze or anything rubber but I’ll have try that one!

Despite regular vacuuming, a squeegee just pulled this out of our carpet. We have a Cattle Dog who sheds a lot.

 I have 3 longer haired dogs and myself with long hair. I have been a loyal shark customer for years and loved the last cordless flex until the beater bar wouldn't work anymore which led me to purchase the newest. I am happy to say the hair does not wrap but it unfortunately does not suck it up well. I have dirt/hair dustbunnies all over the carpet after vacuuming and then have to go back over the carpet with the handheld feature to suck these up

 You have the charger. It takes around three hours to charge, which isn't bad at all. Again, pretty impressive for this price point. Overall, I am very impressed with this

 Brush Roll as you can see here is tangle free. It comes with a couple tools, the dusting, brush and upholstery tool combo. It has fuzz pickers on both the top and bottom, standard crevice tool charger, removable 41 watt hour lithium ion battery. It's nice because you can get one an extra if you need to and of course the wand

 One pass picks up all the dirt that does better on its forward pass. See how it deals with large particles? No problem. Well, that was pretty easy. So all right

 So as you saw in those videos, this machine performs incredibly well. The brush roll has no problem picking up hair and dirt and sand from carpets. I really like how you can attach the power head to The end of the wand. This allows for very easy stair cleaning and I will show you a video of the stair cleaning right now

Shark Rocket Pet Pro, Update and Review🤔

I’m on my 8th year with my Shark Rocket. Other than cleaning the washable filter, I’ve put 0 maintenance into it. It still works like the day I got it. It’s quite strong for the size and weight

I live in Canada and need a vacuum that will maintain suction on carpets, area rugs and hard surfaces. I use to have a Dyson 10+ years ago which I left behind in a divorce. It was the best technology at the time and cost me about $500 on sale.
I see other brands flexing their cyclone technology - are any of them good bang for buck?  Are they’re any models I should stay away from? I’m willing to invest, just looking for real life recommendations.

<p>EDIT: Thank you all for your helpful comments. It seems if I want a BIFL vacuum, it’s going to have to be a bag version. The Miele was mentioned most frequently, so that will likely be my final choice.</p>

What’s the best bagless canister vacuum?

 The hair and dirt gets clogged in the hole of the floor nozzle and cannot be sucked up into the stick. It is very difficult to unclog as you have to reach around the roller head into a very small space. Not ok dealing with this. If you are going to produce a vacuum and advertise that it can handle pet hair (or human hair) it needs to its job well

 The suction seemed to be decent. Yes, not as great as a corded vacuum but that is expexted as a battery can only provide so much power. That being said, I was happy with it. I now have had this vacuum for 9 months

I’ve never been good at cleaning or liked it and the idea of having a whole house to keep on top of is really daunting. 
Does anyone have any cleaning products they recommend? Or weekly templates you use? I’ve been watching YouTube videos constantly trying to gauge what products should be used where, and in what order. I know this seems ridiculous and quiet basic but any help is appreciated.

Recommendations

I finally decided to return the Shark and get the Dyson V10. Holy cow what a difference- I was excited to vacuum!  I can imagine the Dyson V7 (similar in price to this Shark) has a similar effect. I felt like it was much easier to use, I didn't have to work as hard (no going over the same spot 5 times), my rugs felt cleaner (that crinkle noise when you hear it lifting dirt up is so gratifying) and generally it gets the job done faster/easier/more efficiently compared to the Shark.

 If I'd gotten it for free, I'd think it was neat too- maybe.  I just never could get excited about this vacuum when using it. I noticed it had a hard time getting crumbs and dirt up from crevices, and never felt like it fully got everything clean. Stairs were very labor intensive with this

Wanted to love it but fell short

 I definitely will not be cleaning this vacuum as often as I would like which is a major disappointment. I realize this may not be a negative to many people but I would love to be able to keep my vacuum as clean as its intended purpose of use for my floors.

I purchased this cordless vacuum for in between use of a regular corded vacuum. I have several dogs and cats inside and try to daily vacuum my floors for the hair and dirt. My issue with this vacuum isn't so much the performance but rather a design flaw. I like to take apart and clean my vacuums about every 2 months to help with the overall smell of the vacuum but also a clean vacuum helps with its performance

 I was very disappointed to discover that this vacuum is almost impossible to disassemble in order to clean. Granted it has a self clean brush for the roller but guess what? Hair and dirt get trapped behind it and need to be removed which is difficult!! I found a video to help with the cleaning process and discovered it is very time consuming!! Thirty minutes into the video and after removing over 20 tiny screws, he still had not fully taken apart the vacuum head. I definitely will not be cleaning this vacuum as often as I would like which is a major disappointment. I realize this may not be a negative to many people but I would love to be able to keep my vacuum as clean as its intended purpose of use for my floors
