I bought a Shark Vertex Pro with the powered lift away after watching his review and at first loved the lift away features and how light it was, but soon found myself disappointed with how easily the rigid plastic pieces seemed to clog and to some degree the roller/power. My experience was the same, I came back to reddit and found the r/VacuumCleaners thread on the sponsorship after the fact and was asking myself if I got duped. I don't know, I think the comment about YouTube reviewers not focusing on long term actually rings more true.

Great suction but poor debris cup design

What I like best about this Shark machine is that it stands on its own and is cordless. I clean houses and it got frustrating trying to get my other cordless to lean against the wall without falling while I paused to moved furniture or other stuff that was in the way. Actually I’ve found myself going back to my Shark Vertex again because it handles wayyyy better and it can transition from hard floors to carpet without having to change the head like you do on the Felix. The X7 can’t even do hard floors. The Sebo attachments are also dinky and not nearly as advanced as Dysons or Sharks.

Our Shark Vertex is broken (I think it's the bearings in the roller) and I will not spend $100 to replace a head that will likely do the same thing in another year. I will be purchasing a Miele or Sebo from a local vacuum/sewing store.
