I know you can’t get rid of pores but I’m wondering is there anyway to make them smaller? I use La Roche Posay products. They keep my acne mostly at bay but I feel like my pores are just so large. Part of it is genetic, but just wondering if there’s anything else I can do at home to help. Thanks!

Hey everyone, first post on this subreddit!  My birthday is coming up and I may have $200-$300 to spend. Instead of buying a console or video games I want to invest more time into a healthier hobby. I'm pretty new to fishing and I am hooked (lol). I have never bought my own rod. I've been researching baitcasters, but I get lost in all the information and features of each one. My dad lets me use his 2500SH spinning reel on a 7ft M rod, and a baitcaster that either compliments it or does what it can and more would be awesome. I'm lake fishing with a friend and I've been using his rods for striped/hybrid bass and catfish on the shoreline. 

My preferences with the set up are just versatility (like not a setup that can only be used for one/a few circumstances) and portability (like a rod that can be taken apart), but I know little to nothing about building one so I will trust your guy's opinions more than my own. If you could recommend me a setup and explain why you chose it/pros/cons I would be forever grateful. Thanks!!
