Most winters I do like, 70% of my running in the gym on a treadmill.  But that's out this winter, and who knows about the future.  I've tried to be good about going outside - I enjoy running outside much more than on a treadmill - but this year's just been hard to make myself do it, and the real snow and ice hasn't even started.  So I'm considering a treadmill.  Talk me Into/Out of it.  Tell me what features I need to be on the look for! (I don't need anything fancy - I'm not that good a runner. But I know if it's awful to use I'll really just be wasting money)

Looking for 350lb capacity treadmill for weight-loss walking/jogging

I just got it a week ago, this treadmill is nice built and looks like good quality. However, right out of the box one leg had some white marking. Looks like paint leftover or maybe not enough of black paint (looks like white spray) about 10 inch long and 3 inches wide on the bottom of the metal console leg. I have it in the basement so it is not a big deal, but Solo should inspect their item prior to packaging and make sure this does not happens

TLDR; Another help me choose thread. Running, incline, folding, 5’5” &amp; 135 with 40 year old knees. 2k or less budget. 

I’m in the market for a new treadmill and I’m feeling quite overwhelmed with the options. I bought a Sole over 10 years ago and I loved it but sold it a few years ago when I was in an apartment. Now I’m in a little bigger space and would like another treadmill. I thought I would just buy another Sole since the F63 seems popular;  but a lot has changed. When I tried it out at Dicks the demo felt wobbly and the console looked outdated and massive. Looking online there are so many options, at so many price points. I don’t want to overspend since I feel like my needs are simple and I’m not a superb runner, but I also don’t want to get something that will fall apart or has an outdated giant console. However, I hear so many good things about the integrated console with fitness classes that I’d be ok with a large console for that purpose. Maybe it would help me exercise more? Please any opinions or advice, especially if you struggled with similar considerations.

<div class="md"><p>UPDATE: Although I think the Sole would have worked, I just couldn’t overcome the giant outdated console. Ultimately, I decided to increase my budget to $3k and from there my options were more inline with what I wanted.  I considered the Matrix TF30, Life Fitness F30, and even a non folding Precor TRM 223 R20. Ultimately, I selected the Matrix (with the XR console) because of value and ability to fold - but I think any of these options, including Sole, would have worked. </p>

Hi everyone! So I have decided I would like to buy a treadmill so I can walk some while I watch my movies /tv shows in the afternoons. I’m looking for something that is pretty much an under desk type one, something very small and folds down rather than folding up like bigger, bulkier ones do. I was hoping to find one that could fit under our coffee table to give an idea. I prefer controls on the main handlebar but could use a remote if I had to. I just wanted to get an idea for what based on real peoples’ experiences the best ones were that would fit what I’m looking for. I just want something that’s good and reliable but also preferably not more than $1000. TIA!
