Sony WH-CH710N

I persuaded her to open them carefully and try them out, she thought they were okay. I then got her to try my Sony WH-CH700N on, which she thought sounded better and were more comfortable, when I told her they were £55 cheaper than the beats she didn't believe me. After some looking online we decided to get her the newer WH-CH710N and return the Beats, saving her money and getting her some better sounding headphones.

Should’ve exchanged the Solo 3 for the Solo Pro instead of the Sony. I know audiophiles frown on Beats but the WH-CH710N are no perfect headphones either, far from it in fact, even at its price bracket. Slight bloating on the lower mids that extends to the upper bass region, unredeemable dip around the 4-6 kHz range, horrible ANC, and an unattractive aesthetic.

Sony's WH-CH710N headphones offer solid audio performance and active noise cancellation for a relatively affordable price.

I'm now comfortably using them while lying in bed and they don't automatically pause and power off like before! This is a great development. I can now fully recommend these headphones for relaxing while listening to music.

Otherwise they're just very nice bluetooth headphones with good audio and sound. Plus for USB-C charging and a long battery life. It has a sound passthrough to let you hear your surroundings, but i haven't really tried that out yet, but i guess it's nice to have. I think i paid somewhere around 700NOK (80usd) for them and i think they're worth it.
