The best upper-mid-range Bluetooth headphones we've tested are the Sony WH-H910N/h.ear on 3 Wireless. These headphones look quite a bit like the Sony WH-1000XM4 Wireless and come in brighter color options. They have a less sturdy build and a less comfortable fit to go along with the cheaper price but offer a solid, versatile performance. They have a bass-rich default sound profile that adds some extra rumble, punch, and boom to your audio, but it's not as intense as the XM4's. Instruments and vocals also sound clear and present, but if you prefer a different sound, they work with an app that has a graphic EQ and presets for sound customization.

Their ANC feature blocks an impressive amount of noise, especially mid-range sounds like background chit-chat. It doesn't block out as much noise like rumbling engines, but they can still block out a decent amount of noise during your flight or commute.  Now I bought these when I was in Japan and ever since I got them I love them. They are fantastic like I have some traffic and stuff that goes by the house and when I'm doing my editing I love being able to use these headphones to cancel out that part of things and then do my editing like that and speaking of that when you're doing it wirelessly with your computer the latency on this is so low that it doesn't matter that it's wireless on this like I haven't had any trouble using it wirelessly with my computer. The latency is so low that unless you're doing very specific audio stuff then you should always have it plugged in for that when you're doing like really specific audio cuts and working with audio specifically but if you're just doing some video editing and stuff doing it with a wireless pair of noise cancelling headphones with this kind of low latency you won't have a problem. Now the charge on this is excellent too

 You're gonna get 35 hours out of a full charge and say you run out you just need to charge it for 10 minutes and you got two and a half hours of use on this like really good. Now some of the cool features on this is it comes with a mic so you can take calls and stuff like that so if you have it hooked up and you're listening to music and the music will die away or pause while you take a call on this no problem and when you put them on and you put your hand over the side here like this you're going to get the outside atmosphere so it's called pass through and you're gonna be able to use them that way so if you're talking to somebody if you are doing something where you need to hear what's going on outside you could just put your hand over the side and you can use it that way. Now another cool thing about this surface here is that you can you can set some different things in the app but you can switch between songs going flipping back and forth this way you can raise or lower the volume going up or down you can do taps to pause you can do all sorts of things with this touchpad and it's really neat. The other thing is it has this cool little button on the side here there's the power button and then there's the other button and that button there is kind of a select button you can do whatever you decide in the app like have it activate Alexa or activate Siri and then you can ask it to do whatever you do with those things

 On the bottom that's where your USB-C charging cable will go and also your 3.5 millimeter jack is there and your microphone is down there as well. It has a nice leather cup to it and these are over-the-ear headphones so they cover your ears completely just cup them in there and you get this really nice clean noise cancelling from this. Now you can hear a little bit of stuff outside but it's not terrible it's not bad at all and it's really comfortable you can wear them for a good length of time without getting any discomfort

Now listen to this yeah these have some really cool comfort features even a nice rubbery kind of feel up here and when you put those on you can adjust them however you want and yeah that's great like even when the headphones are not on it's got some good noise cancelling like it's it's disturbing to kind of listen to myself even with them on so I'm gonna take them off for now but really comfortable great features really nice set of headphones and you're looking for these in a very specific like ones just like this you can get them in different colors like the 910 version you have I think it's five or six different colors that they come with and they're really cool colors like orange and and blue and they got the black matte black and oh some really cool ones that you can check out and the ones in North America I think they have some color versions as well that are really cool and yes Sony does a great job on these headphones check them out there's a link in the description below for some of the different versions that they have and I suggest like pick some of these up make sure you look for good deals the one that I'm putting the link to is the best deals that I can find but check it out they're really good they're worth the purchase they're a little bit of a cost to them but they're worth it Sony does a great job on these headphones check them out we'll see you next time like and subscribe and have fun bye for now

Video Editing Wireless Noise Canceling Headphones by SONY (WH-H910N h.ear on 3)  - Review

 Now, if you're a frequent traveler then you love the battery backup on the hair-on-3 which per the company can last up to 35 hours of a single charge and sure enough, I only charge the cans once in a span of five days with my usage including listening to music, watching videos for around three hours every day. Suffice it to say, it's very hard to kill the battery on the hair-on-3 but it's equally tedious to charge it back as the headphones take around five hours to reach full charge. Thankfully, you can get a 2.5 hour top-up of a 10 minute charge for when you're in a rush but that is contingent to if you're using a fast charging USB brick

 Of course, these are ANC headphones so you can muffle the chitter chatter in your office to some degree. Now, the quality of the ANC is really good but it's not the pin drop silence I'd associate with the flagship Mark 3 headphones or the Bose 700 headphones which runs recently for that matter but it gets pretty close. You also get adaptive sound control with the pair, a feature which has trickled down from the Mark 3 which automatically detects if you're walking or sitting and changes the sound settings automatically. As for the app, you can pair the hair-on-3 to Sony's Headphone Connect app which lets you change the headphones EQ, variate the ANC levels and change the function of the custom button

Now, compared to the flagship Mark 3 model from the company, they offer a cleaner, a more clearer sound output but they miss out on the depth in the bass and they also don't offer a richer sound as rich sound output as the Mark 3 do.  There's little logos that show if it's left or right As well, you've got a nice Sony logo on the side there and These feel really good all right, so on the Soft part I'm gonna call it the soft part next that goes over your ears There's like a pattern on there. Those look really cool as well So these are gonna be fun to use and again the USB C charging port is on the bottom here There is the three and a half millimeter headphone jack So you are all set with these these have a really nice feel so just to give you an idea These are older Sony wired headphones. They're like 30 bucks when I rattle them or shake them They make a rattling noise Just kind of loose and flimsy They're good for around the computer here, but compared to these these are dead quiet So there's not really loose flappy parts on it It just feels like they're gonna be solid and easy to use as well Folding them up. Let's see that that just flops in like that and that one folds in Let's go ahead and throw it in the case here and see how that works out

 That's really it for the headphones themselves they come with a great app that works really well and allows you to tune the EQ and add bass to them to make them sound how you'd want them to sound so one thing that I've definitely found is that while the sound quality is good they do lack a little bit of bass but if you use the app you can just add a little bit more bass and then basically I'd say they're almost perfect and they sound really really good at that point. Besides these, these are an amazing pair of headphones that are very comfortable if they do fit you properly and don't irritate your ears you can wear them for pretty long. They have good sound quality and good noise cancelling and also a very very good app that makes these headphones a very good choice and of course you have to remember that these headphones I'd highly recommend trying them if you can before as it can be irritating if it does irritate your ears. So for half the price of the XM4's and sometimes growing themselves for 150 definitely an amazing pickup and a definitely amazing pair of headphones and you won't be disappointed if you went with these or the XM4's or another pair of headphones

 One of the ways that Sony was actually able to make it where the sound does actually reach your ears properly and it feels full is that the actual drivers are fairly close to your ears so if you go ahead and see on the inside of the headphones you can actually see on the inside of the ear cups you can actually see the drivers poking out so if your ears are like a certain way it can actually be irritating so that's one of the downsides of these headphones is that they can be irritating for some people. So I really hope that for the next model Sony would fix this to create a fit that works for more people but if Sony were to do this why would people buy the more expensive XM4s as those are just so similar besides the besides the fact that they might be a little bit bigger they have better sound quality bigger drivers of course and I'd imagine better noise cancelling and also a few other smaller other features here and there. The noise cancelling on these headphones is also quite good it is not the best as sometimes it is unable to do much but usually I found that they do good they do do a pretty good job and with more stable noises that don't change much in frequency they do a fairly good job at minimizing those sounds and if you do have something playing in the background you really won't be able to hear much around you so noise cancelling I'd say pretty similar as I have heard that they use the same chip that the XM3s use so that's a pretty good thing and that's I guess one of the reasons why these are so good in noise cancelling too. Along with these headphones you also get a nice little pouch to keep the headphones protected in and you also get a USB-C cable along with a 3

 They have good sound quality and good noise cancelling and also a very very good app that makes these headphones a very good choice and of course you have to remember that these headphones I'd highly recommend trying them if you can before as it can be irritating if it does irritate your ears. So for half the price of the XM4's and sometimes growing themselves for 150 definitely an amazing pickup and a definitely amazing pair of headphones and you won't be disappointed if you went with these or the XM4's or another pair of headphones.  Lowers the quality of all other sounds when using the mic. I hear this is a problem with Bluetooth in general, not the fault of Sony here. But, I wasn't able to use these for gaming. Had to go with wireless headphones that use a usb dongle

 Touch controls are present on the Hear On 3s just like the XM3s, with the swipe right or left to skip forward or back tracks, a swipe up or down to change the volume, a tap to play pause, and a double tap to answer calls, and a long push will actually wake your assistant if you configure it to do that. All right, welcome to the mic test section of the video. One of the areas that a lot of people complained about with the XM3s was the onboard mics. How do they sound right now? Maybe there's been some software updates that have improved it

 But again, you've got that gold bling there on the XM3s. But the forward and back noise canceling mics, which are just behind the hangers, are placed slightly differently on the two headsets. So on the XM3s, they're a bit further apart. On the Hear On 3s, they're quite close together there behind the hanger

 And honestly, I don't think you could base a purchase decision off of the differences between the noise cancelling. It's really, really close. Both have amazing ANC, if you ask me. So of course, when it comes to the app functionality, it's the same

 But for me, the clamping pressure may be a little bit too strong. And that might be because they're a lot newer than my XM3s. And maybe after a bit of wearing in, they will become less strong. But if you asked me, I've got to say the XM3s feel a bit more comfortable
