Sony WH-XB900N Extra Bass Headphones review: A more affordable Sony noise-canceling headphone with extra bass
In other words, if you have a couple of subwoofers in the trunk of your car or just like your bass to thump, these are the headphones for you. I liked them but would be more tempted by them if they cost $200, especially with the WH-1000XM3 being discounted now and then to $300. Sony WH-XB900N brings the extra bass
Sony WH-XB900N Review
If you love booming bass, or if you don't mind fiddling with EQ to adjust it to more normal levels, however, the WH-XB900N headphones offer a lot to like for the price. Sony's wireless WH-XB900N headphones deliver powerful bass response and solid noise cancellation for the price. Great headphones specially for movies!
SOUND QUALITY AND BASS, I own a pair of Sony 1000XM3 and QC35, these definitely have more bass. They definitely don't sound as clear as either of the two, but they still sound great. They are less “flat” sounding and more lively and fun. If you want your ears to vibrate like the Skullcady Crushers, ...
You can wear them for hours
The form fitting headphones are great and extremely comfortable. I wore them for hours while walking around and they never made my ears uncomfortable or sweaty. I love the over-sized ear cushions that go around the outside of the ear instead of sitting on them.
Can't switch between audio inputs
I bought these to replace the Bose QC headphones. I had my Bose headphones paired to three devices, my phone, desktop computer, and laptop. Now it remembered all those connections and I would be able to hit a switch on the earcup to select which one I would want to listen to. That was a really conve...
Great, but why being cheap on the charging cord?
So far, I like this headset a lot. Only reason why I'm taking one star off is the fact that this comes with the smallest possible charging cable, featuring a length of a whopping 9 inches (and that's rounded up!). I mean, who is charging their headset lying on the floor immediately next to a power o...
randomly turns off and noise cancelling varies depending on which way your head is turned
After being off for about 12 hours usually after being turned on it turns off despite having more than 50% battery. It also seems to lack adequate amount of microphones to pick up ambient noise and their position results in a very narrow range so that if you turn your head noise becomes audible agai...
Great bass, above avg clarity
The xb900n justifies it's name “xtra bass”.
Don't expect it to be an audiophiles' headphones. These are your average consumer's bass-pro headbands which does an awesome job of keeping the bass on its toes without compromising on the clarity given the pricetag and a decent ANC. Special hats off to ...
Great HEADPHONES, check them out
Great headphones, at first I put them on and was like uhhh these aren't that clear. After downloading the Sony App and messing with the equalizer, I can say the sound is as good as the Bose QC35 II but these have BASS added which was much much needed. I am selling my Bose now and keeping the Sonys :...
Great texture of plastic!
Great headphones with great bassy sound completes the noise cancelling. Love the rough texture of the plastic which leaves no fingerprints or smudge whatsoever! Lightwear!
